#TBT Pause for paws.

As we get ready to leave our little apartment on Sycamore Street after seven years, here are some photos I took after Milan and I had just moved in way back in June of 2009…

What strikes me about looking at these photos is just how empty the apartment looked. And how when I’m in our new house, it looks the same to me. Like a blank canvas just waiting to be filled. We had a lot of adventures in that little apartment. We take with us a lot of great memories of our time here. And we look forward to the new adventures and new memories that await us in our new home.

One of things I’ll really miss about not living downtown is getting Jet’s Pizza delivered…

Reds baseball game #10.

Our final Sunday Reds game where we could just walk down the street to GABP…

Today, the Reds were retiring Pete’s Rose’s iconic #14…

And this one belongs to the Reds!

Oscar hopped up on the back of the sofa with his little tennis ball and just stare at it…

Then he’d look at Genifer…

And then he’d look at me…

And back to the ball…

He kept doing this until one of us finally got up to toss his ball across the room for him. 🙂

The City Flea: June edition.

We missed The City Flea’s first appearance of the season back in May due to the weather being so unpredictable. I don’t think it ever actually rained. But it looked like it was about to starting pouring at any second all day long. Today was a really warm one with nothing sun and blue skies as far as the eye could see.
