The sky was so hazy again this morning…

We walked to get coffees from Sidewinder…

When we were out in Duck, I got this huge tub of cheese balls. And today with lunch, I ate the very last cheese ball…

It was kind of hazy all day long…

For dinner tonight, Genifer made the autumn sausage veggie & apple sheet pan.
It’s one of our favorites…

And it’s actually starting to feel like autumn again. 😀🍂❤️

Oh hoser, eh?

The sun looked pretty this morning as it rose over Northside…

It kinda looked like something out of Star Wars or a sci-fi film…

The hazy sun was probably still because of the wildfires out west.

Good morning from Northside…

It was too dark to get a decent photo of it last night. But we took one of our old fence posts, and turned it into a hanger for our garden hose…

I saw something similar on Pinterest and thought it would be a neat idea because I could never really figure out what to do with our hose.

The skies were still pretty hazy this evening…

And we had an NYPD calzone party tonight. We’ve been all about the NYPD lately…

Genifer had just pepperoni in her calzone. I had sausage, ham and green olives in mine. And we shared a small french fry…

YUM! NYPD is so good.

Later this evening, we finished watching the second season of Cobra Kai. It was really good. We can’t wait for the next season to see what happens. It’s always tough to figure out what to watch next after you finish a season of something. 😀🏡❤️

Look up in the sky.

I saw a news article this morning that said smoke from wildfires in Oregon and California has already made its way to Greater Cincinnati…

The midwest won’t see the orange haze like cities along the west coast, but the
high-altitude smoke could lead to intense sunsets. The National Weather Service in Cleveland on Wednesday said the wildfire smoke in the upper atmosphere had made
it to the Midwest, Great Lakes and Ohio Valley, leading to hazy and “grayish skies.”

I thought I noticed the skies looking a little hazy lately. I noticed it more yesterday morning than today. But I guess the skies this morning looked a little hazy too…

I could notice it more closer to the horizon. It just looked a little muddy.

This evening it was just kind of cloudy and overcast…

We’ll have to keep an eye on the skies and see if it continues to seem hazy. 😀🌄☁️❤️

Hello September.

Can you believe that today is the first day of September? It’s crazy how fast the year has gone for pretty much staying at home for the last six months.

When we looked out our bedroom window this morning, we saw a new friend sitting on our window sill…

How cool is that? We haven’t seen a Praying Mantis in a quick minute.

Good morning from Northside…

The praying mantis was still hanging out after our morning walk…

When we were leaving Knoxville, the gas station by our hotel had a Cinnabon inside. We got a cinnamon roll to bring home with us and this morning, we got to eat it…

It was so good. I love cinnamon rolls. It reminded me a lot of the amazing cinnamon rolls that I used to get from Sidewinder in Northside.

We had spaghetti with garlic bread for dinner tonight…

I love spaghetti and garlic bread. That’s how it looks when I’m taking a photo of my spaghetti for the blog. And this is how my spaghetti looks after I take my photos and add more dust cheese right before I start eating…

After waiting for what seemed like forever, the guys from Ohio Basement Authority started working on waterproofing our basement today…

They were scheduling six to eight weeks out. And our day finally arrived. They were supposed to here this morning but the team got a flat tire on the way in from Columbus. So they got a bit of a late start. But we’re so excited that this project is finally getting started. 😀🏡❤️

We always let the dogs out in the backyard before we take them on a walk…

Our flowers in our front yard are looking really pretty…

I’ve been pulling weeds everyday. Hopefully someday our little front yard will be weed-free and the clover will just take over. Speaking of flowers, how pretty is this one that we saw on our dog walk this evening?

After work was done and after we walked the dogs tonight, we walked down to Tickle Pickle to get burgers and shakes for dinner….

Tickle Pickle makes vegan shake that Genifer just loves. I’ve been in love with their regular strawberry milkshakes…

Genifer ordered the Eagles chicken sammich…

And I ordered my Buns ‘n Roses burger with extra cheese…

Tickle Pickle is delicious. And it was a great way to start the weekend. 😀🌄🌻🍔❤️

The last of the cupcakes.

Good morning from Northside…

I don’t remember what we had for dinner. But we finished the cupcakes…

It’s always a little sad when you eat your last cupcake.

And we played ball in the backyard…

We watched the Grizzlies beat the Bucks by 13 to officially clinched a spot in the Western Conference play-in game against the Portland Trailblazers. It was probably the Grizzlies best win of the bubble. I like the Grizzlies. I think they have the best logo in the NBA. But then again, I just really like bears. So I might be biased. And we watched the Phoenix Suns finish a perfect 8-0 in the NBA bubble as they defeated our Mavericks, 128-102. I’ve been really getting into the NBA bubble games. The officiating has been horrible as ever. But it’s been fun to watch the basketball. 😀🌄🐾🏀❤️

A wonderful start for Tuesday.

The sunrise this morning was a really pretty one…

I bet Mack was wondering what the heck I kept looking at…

When Genifer went to lunch with her coworkers at Taste of Belgium, she also brought home a bag of blueberry Belgian waffles, and those waffles are delicious…

It was pretty this afternoon in our backyard as well…

While I was working this afternoon, Mack wandered into our office and set one of his squeaky toys on my leg and left…

And Bear was crashed out in Mack’s crate in our office all afternoon…

For dinner tonight, we had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals for dinner tonight. This one was Italian Sausage Penne with sun-dried tomato cream and sweet corn…

It was another really delicious dinner. We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot.

After dinner, we shared a giant chocolate chip cookie that Genifer brought home with her from Currito…
