We going to get one of these and take it with us to the New Year’s Eve party at Higher Gravity to share with everyone. But just before New Years, they disappeared from the shelves. And then today, they were back. Go figure. Now, maybe I’ll just get one to have at work. 😀🧀❤️
Today, we remember the legacy of a great man. We honor The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr… a man who dared to dream while standing fearlessly in the face of adversity. We celebrate a man’s life who taught us to dream and while dreaming, still love others…
“We may have all come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now.”
“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”
“Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into friend.”
“Only in the darkness can you see the stars.”
“Everybody can be great … because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
This afternoon we drove out to West Chester to visit Ikea again…
We wanted to get another bookshelf and a proper desk chair for our office. We got those and we also got a little bookshelf for our living room. And we picked up some other odds and ends. Afterwards, we had lunch with Genifer’s mom at BDubs. Then we came home and put our new stuff together. Here’s our new shelf in the office…
Our office is actually starting to become pretty functional. So functional, we hung out in the office for the rest of the evening. 😀🇸🇪❤️
There were a bunch of people out sledding on the hill at the end of our street…
We need to get some sleds for the next time it snows because it looked like a bunch of fun. Later, we went down to Higher Gravity to watch the Eagles take on the Falcons. And then we got just home in time to watch the Patriots thump the Titans. It was a pretty low-key day but another pretty fun Saturday in Northside. 😀🛷🏈🍺❤️
Back in the day, I started a Tumblr of all the toys Milan destroyed. I called the Tumblr Destructo-O-Dog. Today, Destruct-O-Dog turned 8 years old…
I really miss my buddy and how he quickly he could destroy dog toys with such laser-focused precision. I wish I would have taken more photos of the carnage he caused.
😀🎂❤️
