It was cold and a bit snowy today in Northside…
By the afternoon, we had a little snow on the ground again…

FC Cincinnati’s first MLS match.
This evening was FC Cincinnati’s very first match in MLS. They were playing away at Seattle Sounders on FS1. Definitely not the easiest introduction to their new league…
I was so excited and so nervous for this match all day. And it was finally here…
And just 13 minutes into the match, FC Cincinnati had their first goal and first lead in MLS! Just 13 minutes! Leonardo Bertone made history for FC|C with a wonder strike from outside of the box…
The goal was the third-fastest ever scored by an MLS expansion club. It was definitely a moment to remember. But that was pretty much the only the highlight of the match for FC|C. It all kind of went south from there. FC Cincinnati lost their first match 4-1 to Seattle Sounders.

My very first StitchFix.
Genifer has been doing StitchFix for a little while now. StitchFix is the personal styling company that sends you a box of five different clothing items as often as you’d like. And Genifer really likes it. I finally gave it a try because it seems the only clothing I’ve been buying lately is just stuff from my favorite sports teams. Hoodies. Polo shirts. T-shirts. I have them all, for all my favorite teams. I gave StitchFix a try to break out of my rut and maybe get some brand new big boy clothes…
I kept the last two items, the grey and navy sweater, and the grey denim pants.
I’m pretty excited too! StitchFix is a pretty neat service. And returning the three items I decided to return was also super easy. I can’t wait to see what is in my next box! 😀📨❤️

Smallest express box.
Genifer worked her company’s booth at a career fair this afternoon. And set-up right next to her booth was a booth for UPS. And they were giving away these small express boxes with a couple of little chicklets inside…
Just how small is a small express box? Here it is next to a puzzle piece…
And here it is next to a little baby Kit Kat that she also got me because I love Kit Kats…
That was the cutest express box I’ve ever seen. What a great idea. 😀📨❤️

Meet the Brewery: Jackie O.
We stopped at Higher Gravity for another one of their Meet the Brewery nights. Tonight’s brewery was Jackie O’s Brewery from Athens, Ohio. HG had Jackie O’s Les Deux Silos on draft…
And they were pouring samples of several of Jackie O’s mixed fermentation bottles…
All of the beers were very good. The Les Deux Silos was outstanding. It was almost more of a wine than a beer. The Meet the Brewery events at Higher Gravity are always tasty and fun. 😀🍺🍻❤
