Tonight, Genifer made one of these turkey breast tenderloins for dinner…
It was just okay. But the stuffing and four-cheese mashed potatoes were terrific…
I love stuffing like I love garlic bread. The turkey tenderloin wasn’t bad. I just remember it being a lot better. Oh well. 😀🦃🤷♀️❤️

Today was an NYPD pizza sort of day. We got cheese pizza and BBQ wings with cheese garlic bread and we tried their brand new parmesan bites…
But NYPD’s cheese pizza is always the star of the show for us…

Before my work holiday party, we tried to take a nice Christmas in front of our tree…
Surprisingly, we don’t have a full-sized tripod. We just placed my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on the little tabletop tripod and placed it on the ottoman in our living room. But the camera angle was a bit too low when we were standing up…
So we tried a few sitting down in front of our tree…
Sometimes you win and sometimes you don’t. This time we kind of didn’t but the results were pretty terrific and hilarious to us. 😀📷🎄🐾❤️

Tonight, BrewDog USA was back at Higher Gravity. They were tapping a brewery only release single hop IPA from BrewDog called StrataHop. It was described as, “citrus and tropical with just a hint of weed.”
It wasn’t bad. We’re just not a huge fan of IPAs. The other BrewDog beer they had on tap was Choco Libre Nitro Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout. And it was pretty amazing…
It was a wonderful stout with the perfect amount of heat on the back end…
It’s become one of our new favorite beers. We love Higher Gravity. They always have something delicious on tap. 😀🇲🇽🍺❤️

On the way home from work this evening, we stopped at Urban Artifact…
They were tapping a limited batch of their new Ram Press Spiced Apple Tart Ale…
We thought it was really pretty amazing. It tasted just like a delicious cross between applesauce and an apple strudel especially with the sugar on the rim of the glass. We also tried a taster of their Wine Poached Pear. It was very good as well. They create such incredible tasting beers at Urban Artifact. Completely different than anything else around. No wonder they’re one of our favorite breweries. 😀🍏🍺❤️

Early this afternoon, we walked down to Blue Jay for lunch…
We both had grilled cheeses and fries. My grilled cheeses had so much turkey on it…
After lunch, we walked over to Urban Artifact…
UA was hosting the Holiday Ohio Explored Ohio Maker Mart. We didn’t know there were going to be food trucks at Urban Artifact this afternoon. I don’t know that we would have skipped Blue Jay though. Those grilled cheeses really hit the spot…
There was even more stuff downstairs in UA’s taproom…
It was really fun to wander around and look at all the crafts. If you were looking for a new hand-knit winter hat, this was the place for you. Genifer got two new winter hats. And I got a really shiny ring with beautiful inlays. After the Maker Mart, we walked down to Second Place for a drink. They replaced all their beer tap handles with the tops of trophies. I wonder how long they’ve been like that and I never noticed…
It was another really fun Saturday in Northside. We love our neighborhood. 😀🛍️❤️
