Good morning.

The moon was still hovering over our house as I left to catch the bus this morning…

And it was pretty hazy when I got off the bus downtown…

Good morning from Cincinnati. 😀🌕🚌🌞❤️

Operation Plowshare.

We stopped by our favorite brewery, Urban Artifact this evening after work…

Yesterday, they tapped their Operation Plowshare, a Blackberry Midwest Fruit Tart. It tastes just like the filling from a jelly doughnut. Remember last fall when they gave you the options of having it with or without a sprinkle-covered rim? There weren’t any sprinkles this year but it was every bit as delicious…

We’re going to have to stop back and pick up a couple of four packs…

Great stuff. We love Urban Artifact and their amazing beers. 😀🍩🎃❤️

It’s what’s for dinner.

Genifer made Shepherd’s Pie for dinner this evening…

It was delicious. She comes up with the best ideas for dinner! 😀🍲❤️

I voted.

On my way to work this morning, I stopped to vote…

While I was waiting for the bus across the street, I couldn’t help but notice the terrific sign the library set out encouraging people to vote…

Awesome. What’s not awesome is that Cincinnati has to put up with this argumentative pipsqueak joke of a mayor for another four years. 😀✔️❤️

Pause for paws.

Monday mornings are hard. Taken with Instagram. 😀💤❤️

Two years ago today…

I joined Timehop! And every morning, I get to see some of my best moments from my past via social media!

HOORAY for Timehop! I really enjoy it. 😀🦖❤️

A new new milestone!

Last week, I reset my record high for points from my check-ins last week on Swarm…

I still really like my check-ins on Swarm! 😀⭐️❤️

Are you ready for some football?

We had some friends over for today’s Cowboys versus Chiefs football game. And we put out some snacks for the game…

Our Cowboys beat the Chiefs 28-17. But the snacks won the day. 😀🍲❤️

It’s a sign.

For Crafty Supermarket! It’s just around the corner…

Last year’s Crafty Supermarket was held at University of Cincinnati’s Campus Rec Center while Music Hall was undergoing all its renovations, and we found a bunch of really great stuff there. I can’t wait to see what they have at this year’s market. 😀🎁❤️

Northside’s Blue Jay.

After watching some soccer this morning, we walked to get lunch for the very first time from the Blue Jay! It’s been a Northside staple for the last sixty years…

It’s kinda hard to believe it’s taken us over a year to eat here for the first time. But I think I know why. The Blue Jay is open Monday through Saturday until 3pm. And we just don’t move very fast on most Saturdays…

The inside is an awesome throwback to a bygone era…

It was lunchtime. And we both went for burgers…

And they were awesome! Nothing fancy, just a really solid burger. Last year, Blue Jay closed for a day so it could serve as a movie set. Come to find out that the movie is The Killing of a Sacred Deer which is in theatres now and stars Colin Farrel, Nicole Kidman and Alicia Silverstone.

We’ve already started plotting what we’re going to order on our next visit. Depending on what time we roll in, it’s either going to be pancakes and omelets or we’re going to give their Cincinnati chili a try with some cheese coneys and three-ways. What a terrific place! 😀🐦🎥❤️
