For dinner tonight, we had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits. This one was Cheesy Chimichurri Chicken with corn and potatoes…
It was a little on the spicy side. But it was another very delicious meal. We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot. 😀🍝❤️

Good morning from Northside.
We were up and moving super early this morning. Genifer had to be to work early for a training academy that she helps run. We were up so early that the moon was still out when we were walking the dogs before we left for work…
It’s a shame too. I bet this was going to be a very pretty sunrise morning too. Oh well.

Two years ago, my nephew Edgerton sent us this amazing little piece of art entitled, “Octopod for Shellington & Captain Barnacles”…
And it’s still one of my favorites and it’s still hanging in my office…

Today was really COLD!
It was really cold today. I’m pretty sure it was the coldest day of the year so far…

Django Western Taco.
This morning we ran some errands. We got more Biggby Coffee and then ran to the grocery to get some stuff for the week. When we got back to Northside, we braved the cold to walk over to Django Western Taco for lunch…
We had some chips & salsa, each had a taco and shared their Jerk Chicken Quesadilla…
And then we shared Django’s amazing bread pudding…
This time it was a bourbon caramel bread pudding. It was amazing!
And I became the mayor of Django again on my Swarm…
Django is so good. It’s one of our Northside favorites. 😀🌮❤️

It was a pretty rainy Saturday.
It was a very rainy and grey day in Northside…
And we didn’t do very much today. We watched some soccer and some basketball and a couple of movies on Netflix. And we looked into some ideas for a trip to celebrate our anniversary in February. It was a pretty relaxing and low-key Saturday. 😀🌧️❤️

It’s Saturday morning so we got up early to go get more Biggby Coffee…
This weekend we had a coupon for $1 off…
Genifer got a 20oz. Caramel Marvel latte and I got a 24oz. Cocoa Carmella hot chocolate with some butterscotch flavoring added to it…
Biggby’s coffee is sooo good. When we got home with our Biggby coffees, we made some delicious cinnamon rolls for breakfast…

Tonight, we had another NYPD Pizza party…
We’ve been all about their Station House pizza lately. And NYPD’s boneless wings are always delicious. I think an NYPD Pizza party is a terrific way to start the long three-day holiday weekend. 😀🍕❤️

Our 5000th blog post.
This is our 5000th blog post on T+G…
After Milan passed away, we started our new blog, T+G. Shortly after, we migrated all of our blog posts starting with our very first date from Blogger to WordPress. 5,000 blog posts later, we’re still going strong. It’s really been a labor of love. I love our blog because it gives us a searchable database of literally everything we’ve done together since our very first date.
And I think that’s pretty darn awesome. So many wonderful memories. Thank you for stopping by and sharing our adventures with us! 😀💻❤️
