As we were driving down Sycamore Street, we noticed a really funny cloud of fog…
It was an odd fog. As we got closer, it looked like it was just around P&G Gardens. Genifer said when she was on the Big Mac Bridge crossing the Ohio River the fog was crazy. She said you couldn’t see anything but the bridge. But once she got over the bridge into Kentucky, the fog was just gone. It was an odd fog. 🙂
I ordered their battered chicken stir fry lunch plate with Cantonese classic brown sauce with steamed Jasmine rice…
And I tried the one of the most difficult to pronounce dishes on the menu, Xiao Long Bao dumplings. They’re pork and shrimp steamed dumplings Shanghai style with ginger soy sauce. And they were out of this world!
It was a really, really outstanding lunch, even though I ordered way too much food!
I’ll definitely be back to Neuf very soon and often! 🙂
After we walked Oscar this morning, we walked down Hamilton Avenue to get coffee from Collective Espresso Northside. It’s a little bit hard to find. We walked right by it a few weekend’s ago until Genifer finally noticed the sign on the sidewalk…
With coffee in hand, we stopped at Melt Eclectic Cafe to pick-up some brunch to take home with us…
We brought home a couple of Melt’s Breakfast Burritos. And they were really amazing…
It was a great way to start our Sunday. Later, we took Oscar a longer walk. It was so pretty outside…
After that, we puttered a bit around the house but mostly just laid around and watched football for the rest of the day. It was a pretty relaxing Sunday. 🙂
It was a gorgeous fall Saturday afternoon today. How many more days are going to this beautiful? We had a couple of passes to the Cincinnati Zoo that we going to expire kind of soon-ish, so it sounded like a perfect idea to go spend the afternoon at the zoo, and check out the zoo’s new Hippo Cove for the first time…
Walking around, it looked like they were just putting the finishing touches on hanging all the 2.5 million LED lights for the 34th annual “Wild Wonderland” PNC Festival of Lights, which starts next weekend on November 19th…
We can’t wait to to come back in a couple weeks for the Festival of Lights…
The red pandas are one of my favorites. They’re soooo cute…
Hippo Cove was incredible! I could have sat there and watched the hippos all day. It was amazing to see them that active and so up-close and personal. They are very impressive!
The giraffes are some of our favorites too…
The bears were all crashed out…
And we exit through the gift shop…
It’s always amazing to spend an afternoon at the zoo. 🙂
Whenever the Cincinnati Cyclones score five goals and win, you have five days to exchange your ticket for a free Donatos one topping pizza. After work this evening,
I picked up our free Donatos pizzas from Wednesday’s 7-4 Cyclones win over the Reading Royals. And Genifer found someone’s ticket on the ground as we were leaving US Bank Arena so we had three tickets to redeem for free pizzas…
I managed to get all three of them home on the bus without eating any of them…
And then it was finally time to eat free pizza…
Free pizza sure is delicious! A super big thanks to Donatos and our Cyclones for our free pizza pies! 🙂
