Another low-key Sunday.

We got up early this morning to run over to get a few groceries from Trader Joe’s. And I became the mayor of Trader Joe’s on Swarm

And then, we stopped at Biggby again for weekend morning coffee

Genifer is the mayor of Biggby. We just had another pretty lazy day at home. I finished up my project for work. And we took the dogs on a few walks. On one of our walks, we found this little jazzy cool cat on the sidewalk that someone must have lost…

I set him on the base of one of the streetlights. I hope he can find his people again. We watched The Aeronauts on Prime Video. It was pretty good. It was just another pretty low-key Sunday. πŸ˜€β˜•οΈπŸ±β€οΈ

Weekends are always better when you don’t have to work on a bunch of stuff for work. But it’s also pretty nice to have the opportunity to work on some pretty big projects, even if the timelines are kind of ridiculous.

Dog’s heads get heavy.

This morning we ventured out early to get some Biggby Coffee and then we ran over to the grocery. I needed to get some more cold medicine because I woke up feeling under the weather again.

When we got home, we puttered for a bit and made a deep dish oven pizza for lunch. I took some cold medicine and went upstairs to watch the Michigan-Michigan State basketball game. Mack hopped on the bed next to me and promptly fell asleep with his head on my leg…

Dog’s heads get heavy. And Michigan lost. It was a pretty low-key Sunday. πŸ˜€πŸΎπŸ’€β€οΈ

Happy Christmas Eve Eve!

Happy Christmas Eve Eve! We got up early this morning to get some Biggby Coffee

Genifer has been really liking their Peppermint Mocha Latte with almond milk and I’ve been all about the Cocoa Caramella hot chocolate with a shot of butterscotch. I also a big fan of Biggby’s sausage egg and cheese breakfast bagel sammich on an Asiago bagel. It’s really good stuff all the way around…

After Biggby, we went over to Rookwood Commons to do some last-minute shopping. We were mainly looking for some stuff for the dogs. But all I did was take photos of adorable stuff like these two characters…

How about caramel coffee flavoring in a penguin bottle wearing a winter hat?

Or a larger than life-sized plush penguin…

Oe a Triceratops sleeping bag…

I bought this sugar cookie ix because how cute is that little polar bear serving tray?

I like bears. After shopping, we had lunch at Rusty Bucket so I could get my Chicken Finger BLT. I really like Rusty Bucket and I love that chicken sammich. When we got home, we took the dogs on a walk and then we were pretty lazy…

It was a pretty good Christmas Eve Eve…

And it’s been a really good break so far. πŸ˜€πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸΎβ€οΈ

College Hill Coffee Company.

This morning we set out to run some Saturday morning errands but first we stopped for coffee up in College Hill at College Hill Coffee Company

Genifer ordered a peppermint mocha and I got myself a hot chocolate with chocolate chip banana bread…

Our drinks were really good. There’s also all sorts of gift items and home goods and odds and ends in CHCC like these huge gourmet rice crispy treats…

And this adorable dinosaur hide & hunt puzzle dog toy…

And their menu looked really good too. We’ll have to come back up to College Hill Coffee Company for breakfast sometime very soon. πŸ˜€β˜•οΈβ€οΈ

We run on Dunkin.

We got up this morning to run some errands, and along the way we stopped to get some Dunkin in Finneytown…

I really like Dunkin’s Dunkaccino. πŸ˜€β˜•οΈπŸ©β€οΈ

Kitty’s Coffee on Fourth Street.

This morning we stopped at the new Kitty Coffee on Fourth Street

The space was kind of cold inside…

We both had caramel lattes. They were pretty good. But we think we’ll stick with our Sidewinder Coffee during the week. πŸ˜€β˜•οΈβ€οΈ

A Biggby Butter Bear please.

After we were done at Trader Joe’s, we made a Sunday morning stop at Biggby Coffee for a Butter Bear and a breakfast sammich…

We really like Biggby Coffee. A lot. πŸ˜€πŸ»β˜•β€

Saturday morning Biggby Coffee.

This morning we went over to Biggby Coffee again in Madisonville…

We love weekend coffee runs to Biggby Coffee! πŸ˜€β˜•οΈβ€οΈ

We love Sidewinder Coffee.

According to Swarm, we’ve checked-in at Sidewinder Coffee either 299 or 300 times…

Either way, we love our Sidewinder Coffee and we’re really glad they’re a part of our neighborhood. πŸ˜€β˜•οΈβ€οΈ

And after getting out coffee, we saw this guy waiting patiently for his owner’s return…

Sunday morning with Biggby Coffee.

When we were up in Michigan last Christmas, we got to tryΒ Biggby CoffeeΒ on our last day as we were getting on the road to head back to Cincinnati. And Biggby’s coffee drinks were really good. Genifer had their Caramel Marvel and I had their Butter Bear. I looooved the Butter Bear. It was a latte with caramel and butterscotch. I was pretty sure I found my new favorite coffee drink of all time because it combined two of my favorite things… butterscotch and bears. Biggby was a great place but we thought we’d wouldn’t bet their coffee again until we went back up north.

Then we noticed that there are a handful of Biggby Coffees scattered around the greater Cincinnati area. Unfortunately, none of those locations were really all that close to us, northern Kentucky or all the way out in Loveland. Until… a brand new Biggby Coffee just opened in Madisonville. And today, we check out the new Biggby and get some delicious Biggby coffee…

Biggby Coffee is delicious. We repeated the same order as we had up in Michigan, plus a cinnamon roll. And it was every bit as terrific as we remembered. We’re glad you’re just around the corner from us now Biggby! We will be back often!Β πŸ˜€β˜•οΈπŸ»β€οΈ
