It’s what’s for dinner.

We had Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken for dinner tonight…

It’s been a minute since we’ve had Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken. And it was amazing. Again. Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken is so delicious. It’s still one of my very favorites. Sometimes absence makes the heart grow even fonder. 😍🥡🐔❤️

Pause for paws.

We took Mack back to the vet this morning to have the doctor look at his hurt paw. The doctor said everything looked good. They rewrapped it and sent us home with some more medicine for his paw. We get to remove the bandages from his paw on Tuesday.

When we got home, Mack was hanging out in the office with me while I was working and he was shivering so I covered him up with a blanket…

And he went right back to sleep without any shivers. I think he likes hanging out in the office with me. 😀🐾💤❤️

It’s Skyline Timehopping!

Four years ago, I was a third place winner in Skyline Chili’s Home Plate Sweepstakes 2016! I won this really sweet Skyline Reds ball cap and a $25 Skyline gift card!

And it’s been one of my favorite ball caps ever since. Thanks for all the really wonderful memories, Timehop. 😀🦕⚾️🍝🧀🌭❤️

Happy Jackie Robinson Day!

Jackie Robinson made history when he broke baseball’s color barrier on April 15, 1947.

Every year on April 15th, Major League Baseball joins together to celebrate the life and career of Jackie Robinson with Jackie Robinson Day. Today is an opportunity for people around the world to look back on the courage and strength one man displayed that would inspire generations to come…

Although we are unable to celebrate this special day at the ballpark, we can still join baseball’s salute to Jackie Robinson this year. At MLB.com/42, there are activities for kids to learn more about Jackie’s accomplishments, along with a schedule of programs on MLB.com and MLB Network celebrating Jackie’s legacy. 😀⚾️❤️

Pause for paws.

Oscar is so fuzzy. And so sleepy. His groomer is not taking any appointments until well into May. We might have to figure out how to cut his hair by ourselves. 😀🐾❤️

Homemade carrot cake cupcakes.

Genifer made these homemade carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting…

And they were amazing! They were so moist and the icing was delicious! She always finds the best stuff to make! 😀🥕🧁🐰❤️

Poor Mack.

When we were playing in the backyard on Tuesday evening, Mack pulled up with a limp. We were keeping an eye on his paw throughout the week and this morning we noticed the outside of his paw looked a bit swollen…

He also didn’t want to put any pressure on it. We took him to the vet this morning. And it turns out, somehow he fractured his outer toe nail on his left paw…

They cleaned it and wrapped it up in bandages and tape…

They sent him home with some pain medicine and antibiotics…

He was pretty zonked out for the rest of the day…

Later, he managed to get up for a short walk to the end of our street…

Poor Mack. We go back to the vet on Thursday so they can see how his paw is doing. Hopefully, he’ll start feeling better really soon. 😢🐾❤️

Today was a good day.

We got coffee from Sidewinder this morning and they spelled my name with two D’s…

Grey gave us the afternoon off for Easter weekend. Thanks, Grey!

This afternoon, we ran over to Genifer’s office to pickup a laptop. And on the way home, we stopped to get Skyline carry-out for lunch…

Hello, delicious cheese coneys…

Ohmigosh. We haven’t had Skyline in forever! It was sooo good. And later this evening, we ran down the street to Northside Yacht Club

We picked up some Miller High Life’s and some of NSYC’s famous peanut tequila…

Cheers to the weekend! We wished we would have had the peanut butter tequila for last weekend’s Front Porch Pours. We just hung out, had some drinks and listened to music tonight. It was a good day. 😀☕️🧀🌭🍻🎶🤗❤️

We survived another week of shelter-in-place. Four weeks down.

Thunderstorms.

A big storm blew through Cincinnati this evening…

I took this video out of our third-floor bathroom window…

It was a pretty crazy storm. 😬⛈️❤️

It’s what’s for dinner.

We had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals for dinner tonight. This one was Smoky BBQ Bacon Chicken Thigh Tacos with cheddar cheese…

It made us each three delicious little tacos…

It was another really delicious Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal. The chicken was so tender and the BBQ sauce was outstanding. I love really delicious BBQ sauce.

We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot. 😀🥩❤️
