O Christmas tree.
We decorated our Christmas tree this afternoon. After Christmas last year, I bought an artificial Christmas tree on the real cheap online. We’ve hadn’t even opened the box it was shipped in until today. Assembling the tree was pretty easy. It consisted of just three segments and a base. We fluffed all the branches and we were pleasantly surprised with how good it looked. And it’s pretty tall too…
We added some lights and a bunch of ornaments…
We think our tree is very beautiful. 😀🎄❤️

Our 2018 Higher Gravity Beervent Calendar.
This evening we stopped at Higher Gravity for a beer. We wanted to try Platform Beer Company’s Fostered Bananas Sour Berliner Weisse and Brink Brewing’s Armored Heart Coffee & Vanilla Stout…
And we had to pick up our 2018 Higher Gravity Beervent Calendar…
It’s like any other Advent calendars used to countdown the days of Advent in eager anticipation of Christmas. Except with this calendar, there’s a different beer behind every door. We can’t wait to see what beers are waiting for us every day as we inch closer to Christmas…

The happiest hour in Northside.
After work this evening, we stopped at Second Place on the way home…
Second Place has some amazing burgers. They’re not anything super fancy. They’re just a really good, solid burger And during their happy hour, they’re half-price. A single burger is only $3 and just $5 for a double burger with bacon…
We add a basket of fries for $4. And boom, instant dinner. Second Place also had a really incredible Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout from March First on tap. And the drafts were also $1 off. It was a really good happy hour. I think it might just be the best happy hour in Northside. And I could see this becoming a weekly tradition. 😀🍔🍟❤️
