A Wednesday evening in Northside.
I met Genifer at Hoffner park again to walk through the Northside Farmers Market…
I got the most amazing pecan roll from Shadeau Breads. It was so delicious. Next week when I get more, I’ll try to remember to post a photo of it. It was really amazing. We walked down Blue Rock passed Cincinnati Fire Department – Station 20…
And we stopped into Boswell’s Alley for a bite to eat…
We shared some wings and sliders. Both were pretty delicious…
Boswell’s has a pretty awesome back patio…
It was another fun evening in Northside. 🙂

Orient.
I’ve been having a craving for Chinese food lately. Unfortunately, one thing that the Northside is missing, or that we haven’t discovered yet, is a good Chinese restaurant. Thankfully, I can satisfy my hankering for some good Chinese food by just taking a quick walk from my office down Main Street…
Thank goodness for Orient…
And here is the delicious General Tso’s chicken I had for lunch…

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati 2016!
It’s that time of year again. Time for the largest Oktoberfest in all of America, Oktoberfest Zinzinnati. One of the most fun weekend’s of the entire year in downtown Cincinnati…
We used to love Oktoberfest weekend when we lived downtown. This was the first year it hasn’t been right outside our front door. It was also the first year of the new location for Oktoberfest Zinzinnati down in The Banks on Second and Third Streets to accommodate Cincinnati’s new streetcar CB Connector. After today’s Reds game, we wandered over to see what the new look Oktoberfest Zinzinnati actually looked like…
We found the Klaberheads…

Oktoberfest might have moved a couple blocks south but it’s still the same big fun. And being able to walk out your front door to Oktoberfest might be one of the few things I actually miss about living downtown. Thank goodness for the 17 bus and Uber. 🙂

Reds baseball game #14.
We went to the second to last Reds Sunday church baseball game of the season…
It was our fourteenth Reds game of the season…
The Pirates Jason Jaso came in to pinch hit…
We saw this guy in the boxes below us, and thought Mat Latos was back in the house…
Time for the Sunday live edition of the Reds mascot race…
Gapper just edged out Fritz the Oktoberfest Zinzinnati mascot…
The Pirates were down to their last strike…
And this one belongs to the Reds!
It’s always great to be back at the ballpark. With a doubt, GABP is one of my favorite places to be in all of Cincinnati. 🙂

FC Cincinnati versus Orlando City B.
This evening we went to watch FC Cincinnati take on Orlando City B at Nippert…
At halftime, it was still nil-nil…
1-0 to FC Cincinnati!
And FC Cincinnati reset the USL single game attendance record again for the third time this season…
And that’s the way the match end, 1-0 to FC Cincinnati…
And…
With today’s win, FC Cincinnati clinched a home match in the first round of the USL playoffs…
FC|C’s home playoff match will be played on Sunday, October 2nd. Get your playoff tickets now! We’ll see you there! 🙂
