Never forget.

Good evening from Northside.

Good evening from Northside. 😀🌄❤️

Downtown details.

A while back, I did a kind of lackluster job of documenting my walk from work across downtown to catch the bus at Government Square. I gave it another pass tonight with similar results. I leave work and walk down McFarland Street…

This new graffiti just popped up the other day on Egan Alley…

I cross Elm Street and walk down Benham Alley…

There’s the construction site at Race and Fourth Streets with two tower cranes…

I walk down Fourth Street passed Unheardof sneaker shop…

On the other side of Vine Street, I walk by Aster on Fourth and the FC|C offices which were recently painted purple on the first two floors…

And I walk by the FC|C team shop

I walk by Dixie Terminal and Renaissance Hotel on Fourth Street and turn up Walnut Street to get Government Square on Fifth Street…

I really missed some key landmarks. Again. I’ll have to try to do a better job of documenting my walk from work down Fourth Street to catch the bus at Government Square. Maybe the third time will be the charm.  😀🏙️🚧❤️

Corners of our home.

We hung these new little coffee mug shelves in our kitchen this evening…

Hooray for new shelves. 😀🏡❤️

Pause for paws.

We walked down to Higher Gravity for a beer. And we ran into our friend, Muskie. He’s not our dog. He’s one of the owners dog, and he hangs out at Higher Gravity quite a bit. We just think he’s a really good looking little dog…

On the way home, the sunset was really pretty…

We had a pretty chill Sunday. 😀🐾🌆❤️

FC Cincinnati versus Toronto FC.

This evening our FC Cincinnati played host to Michael Bradley’s Toronto FC. But first, we stopped at Mac’s Pizza Pub for their special $5 matchday pizza…

And I wanted a grilled cheeses with some waffle fries…

And when we were done eating, we walked over to Nippert Stadium to watch our FC|C play those hosers from up north…

Jozy Altidore didn’t play in this match. I’m not even sure if he traveled with the team to Cincinnati. And that’s fine. I’ve always thought that he was really overrated. We saw him play against the Crew in Columbus. And he was just as underwhelming in person as he is with the national team.

But even terribly overrated players can scorch you when they’re left totally unmarked just outside of the 18. Like when FC|C was playing Toronto up in Canadia

Here we go…

There were fans at Nippert who booed every time Michael Bradley touched the ball. I found it to be incredibly disrespectful with all he’s done on the USMNT. I think he’s one of the better, more consistent players that our national team has had lately…

And FC Cincinnati lost 5-1. It’s just been painful.

We grabbed an Uber back to Northside Tavern for a drink…

And then we came home and walked the dogs…

It was a pretty fun evening if you take out the 5-1 loss. 😀🍕🥪⚽️🍺❤️

Good evening from Northside.

There were some really pretty clouds over Northside this evening…

Good evening from Northside. 😀🌄❤️

It’s what’s for dinner.

Genifer made homemade popcorn chicken for dinner tonight…

It was delicious! And there was enough left for lunches. Here’s my lunch for tomorrow popcorn chicken with a whole bunch of corn cut off the cob…

Lunch tomorrow is going to be a good one. Genifer always find the best stuff to make for dinner… and apparently, lunches as well. 😀🐔🌽❤️

Fitbit New Zealand badge.

This morning I earned another Fitbit badge from my Fitbit Charge3

How cool is that? We love walking. Throw another shrimp on the barbie! 😀⚡️❤️

Four years ago.

According to my Timehop, we finally picked the resort where we would eventually get married in Jamaica

Thanks for the memories, Timehop! 😀🐢🦕❤️
