I ordered a new hose a couple of weeks ago. And it’s sprung a leak…
I contacted the company that I bought it from and they’re sending me a new one. So that’ll be pretty good.
And later, we played ball in our backyard for 30 minutes tonight…

It was started out as another slightly overcast day…
Bear was crashed out with me in the office all day…
And we had delicious Mongolian meatball ramen for dinner…
But it turned out to be a very pretty evening…

And then we played some ball in our backyard…
The Reds beat the Indians 3-2. And we started watching Dexter on Netflix. It was a pretty good Monday as far as Mondays go. 😀🗓️❤️

It was a very low key Sunday. We didn’t do very much at all. We didn’t even go to Taft’s to get delicious pizza. Maybe next weekend. 😀🌄☁️🌻☀️❤️

Minnesota United played San Jose Earthquakes in the quarterfinals of MLS is Back…
And the Loons burst the Quakes bubble 4-1…
Cue Wonderwall! The Loons are still undefeated on the season and they’re marching into the MLS is Back semi-finals. They will play Orlando City for a spot in the tournament finals Thursday night on ESPN2. 😀⚽️❤️
Combine this win with Arsenal’s FA Cup win earlier in the day, and that’s what I call a very good sports day.

Today is August 1st. Can you believe that? For being pretty much confined to home since the middle of March, this year is going by really fast. I guess time flies regardless of your level of activity.

We were pretty lazy this morning…
After Arsenal lifted the FA Cup, we drove out to the far-north suburbs of Liberty Township for a cookout to celebrate Alyssa’s birthday. When we were leaving Northside, the skies looked really threatening…
And it rained the entire way to Liberty Township but once we got there it was very pretty outside. The sun came out and there were the biggest fluffiest clouds…
When we got home, we dodged more Northside raindrops and took the dogs for a walk…
And good night from Northside…
There was supposed to be an almost full moon tonight but there were waaay to many clouds. Still, it was a pretty good Saturday. 😀🗓️❤️

Today was the final of the FA Cup. My favorite club in the world, Arsenal were making their record 21st appearance in the FA Cup final. Arsenal are also holders of the record for FA Cup final wins at thirteen. They were playing London rivals, Chelsea in today’s final. At the end of last season, Chelsea demolished Arsenal 4-1 in the 2019 Europa League final in Baku, Azerbaijan. Hopefully, the match would go much better for the Gunners today…
Leading up to this year’s FA Cup Final, Arsenal America took a look back at all thirteen Arsenal teams that lifted the Cup and in the process became FA Cup legends! They started with the very first Gunner squad to lift the FA Cup in 1930…
And moved through all thirteen squads ending with the 2017 side…
There were some neat graphics and photos on social media leading up to the match…
The match was all knotted at the half…
A brace by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang lead Arsenal past Chelsea…
With the FA Cup win, Arsenal booked their spot in next season’s Europa League. It will be the Gunners twenty-fourth consecutive season of European football. Mikel Arteta’s side finished eighth in the Premier League table. Their win knocks Wolves out of Europe next season and forces sixth-place finishers, Spuds into the Europa League qualifying round to play an extra three matches before the tournament properly commences. And that makes lifting the FA Cup trophy just a little bit sweeter…
I hope Aubameyang stays with Arsenal for a long time to come…
I’m so happy Mikel Artera is leading Arsenal now…

I received notification today that my photos reached a new record on Google Maps…
I’ve been working hard on my Google Maps contributions. I really like Google Maps. It’s just another way to share our experiences and especially another place to share all the photos I take of every dang little thing every day. It’s pretty neat. I like it.

Early this afternoon, we drove out to the suburbs to check out Topgolf West Chester…
I haven’t swung a golf club in a really long time…
So this should be interesting…
Topgolf is pretty amazing and has a full-service bar and restaurant…
We shared a hitting bay with Cleve and Alyssa…
They have a whole bunch of different games you can play. We just played their signature Topgolf game where you score points by hitting your golf ball into any target assigned using Topgolf’s microchip technology…
The more accurate your shot and the farther the distance, the more points you earn…
It was really fun. During a game, each person got to hit 20 balls. While we were playing, we also ate lunch. We had some cheese curds…
Genifer had this turkey wrap…
And I had this short rib grilled cheeses…
Our lunch was delicious. And Topgolf is so much fun. It’s a little on the pricey side but still a whole bunch of fun. We’ll definitely be back very soon for more Topgolf. 😀⛳️❤️
