Another good Saturday.

We love our new little side yard…

And we love our backyard fence…

Good morning from Northside…

This afternoon we drove out to West Chester…

We had lunch at Dingle House…

They had a peanut butter milk stout from Left Hand that was just out of this world…

Genifer ordered Mike’s pastrami on sour dough…

I had a half-order of their fish and chips…

While we out in West Chester, we visited Geri for a bit, gathered Oscar and Bear to finally bring them back home with us and then we headed back to Northside…

Good evening from Northside…

And this evening, we watched Minnesota United draw with Houston and Louisville City thump Memphis…

It was another really good Saturday. 😀🌄🇮🇪📺⚽️❤️

Oktoberfest In Za House.

Good morning from Northside…

Mack usually hangs out with me in our office while I’m working but today he wandered off. And I found sleeping in my spot on our bed…

When were out on our walk this evening, we saw this yard sign…

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati is traditionally the nation’s largest Oktoberfest and the second largest in the world to the original Oktoberfest in Munich. And apparently even with COVID-19 this year, Oktoberfest Zinzinnati is still taking place around town at favorite Cincinnati eateries and pubs and In Za House at home…

Good evening from Northside….

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati In Za Haus will enable Oktoberfest lovers to get their German on at home by ordering do-it-yourself Oktoberfest Zinzinnati Zelebration Packs. This year’s mostly virtual Oktoberfest starts today and runs through next Saturday, September 27th. PROST!

It’s starting to feel like autumn.

The sky was so hazy again this morning…

We walked to get coffees from Sidewinder…

When we were out in Duck, I got this huge tub of cheese balls. And today with lunch, I ate the very last cheese ball…

It was kind of hazy all day long…

For dinner tonight, Genifer made the autumn sausage veggie & apple sheet pan.
It’s one of our favorites…

And it’s actually starting to feel like autumn again. 😀🍂❤️

Oh hoser, eh?

The sun looked pretty this morning as it rose over Northside…

It kinda looked like something out of Star Wars or a sci-fi film…

The hazy sun was probably still because of the wildfires out west.

Good morning from Northside…

It was too dark to get a decent photo of it last night. But we took one of our old fence posts, and turned it into a hanger for our garden hose…

I saw something similar on Pinterest and thought it would be a neat idea because I could never really figure out what to do with our hose.

The skies were still pretty hazy this evening…

And we had an NYPD calzone party tonight. We’ve been all about the NYPD lately…

Genifer had just pepperoni in her calzone. I had sausage, ham and green olives in mine. And we shared a small french fry…

YUM! NYPD is so good.

Later this evening, we finished watching the second season of Cobra Kai. It was really good. We can’t wait for the next season to see what happens. It’s always tough to figure out what to watch next after you finish a season of something. 😀🏡❤️

We made a Home Run Inn oven pizza for lunch…

I think Home Run Inn makes on the best frozen pizzas around.

And it turned out to be a pretty nice day…

Look up in the sky.

I saw a news article this morning that said smoke from wildfires in Oregon and California has already made its way to Greater Cincinnati…

The midwest won’t see the orange haze like cities along the west coast, but the
high-altitude smoke could lead to intense sunsets. The National Weather Service in Cleveland on Wednesday said the wildfire smoke in the upper atmosphere had made
it to the Midwest, Great Lakes and Ohio Valley, leading to hazy and “grayish skies.”

I thought I noticed the skies looking a little hazy lately. I noticed it more yesterday morning than today. But I guess the skies this morning looked a little hazy too…
