Apricot Coffee House.

After making a run to Trader Joe’s this morning, we got to stop at another new coffee shop. This morning’s pick was the new Apricot Coffee House in Pleasant Ridge…

Genifer had a latte. You could see the flower pattern through the lid…

And they had donuts from Starlight Doughnut Lab

I had the Choc Norris cold brew, cacao and banana smoothie with a mint chocolate donut from Starlight Doughnuts Lab

Apricot Coffee House is a great little coffee shop. We’ll definitely be back! 😀☕️🍩❤️

400 Timehops.

400 Timehops in a row!

Timehop is fun. 😀🦕❤️

We ate this.

We ate this supreme oven pizza for dinner tonight…

Oven pizzas are always great. 😀🍕❤️

FC Cincinnati versus Wayne Rooney.

This evening FC Cincinnati played host to Wayne Rooney and DC United. It was the other match that we were kinda excited about this season because of who was going to be on the pitch tonight at Nippert Stadium. They were handing out terrific
little FC Cincinnati away jersey rally towels before today’s match…

And that’s pretty cool because I really have a thing for rally towels. I love them…

The match was being televised on ESPN as the Match of the Week or something and that meant there were cameras everywhere…

It was a white-out at Nippert Stadium for today’s match…

All of a sudden it made sense why they were giving out white away jersey rally towels. And there he is…

The man. The Myth. The Legend…

Wayne Rooney…

I was also rather surprised at how many people brought their Wayne Rooney jerseys to the match in hopes that Wayne would sign them…

He didn’t sign one of them. In fact, he didn’t even look it their direction…

At halftime, FC|C honored Cincinnati native and World Cup champion, Rose Lavelle

So that was pretty neat to see Rose Lavelle…

And that was that. DC United won 4-1 and Wayne Rooney one-upped Zlatan and scored at Nippert Stadium. After the match was mercifully over, we stopped at Penn Station for sammiches while we waited for the Uber prices to stop surging…

Unlike FC|C, Penn Station is sooo good. 😀⚽️❤️

Summer Gods Tour.

This evening we went to see Third Eye Blind play at Riverbend’s PNC Pavilion…

It was an incredible show! Third Eye Blind is just amazing live. I posted a few more videos of their performance to my Instagram. What a show! What a night! 😀🎸🎶❤️

And on the way to our car, we got a beautiful view of tonight’s full moon…

😀🌕❤️

It’s a sunny day at Grey.

It was another pretty day at Grey Midwest in downtown Cincinnati…

I just love that view from the ninth floor of our building. And speaking of love, there was a carrot cake in one of the Grey refrigerators…

It must be time for birthdays again. 😀🎂❤️

I love Northside.

This guy showed up wrapped around one of the utility poles on Hamilton Avenue near the intersection with Chase in Northside…

I love Northside so much.  And we saw these adorable magnets at Sidewinder Coffee

😀😍❤️

A brand new personal best.

For just the eighth timeI went over 3000 points for the week on my Swarm. And not surprisingly after our weekend in Louisville, I ended up setting a new brand personal best for points in a week

I still really like my check-ins on Swarm! 😀⭐️❤️

Louisville is pretty awesome.

We had such a good time in Louisville this weekend. Our hotel was right across the street from KFC Yum Center. It was the perfect location for our trip. On Friday, we walked to Lousiville’s Waterfront Park where we saw The Killers at Forecastle and had some incredible Louisville-style pizza from Bearno’s afterward. On Saturday, we walked to get coffee from Please&Thank You. We were just going to get coffee and go back to the hotel. But we wandered off to find a house close by where Thomas Edison lived for a year when he was nineteen and then proceeded to stumble upon three breweries within a few blocks of each other… Falls City, Akasha, and Goodwood. We made it back to the hotel to rest and change before we headed back out to walk over to Against the Grain Brewing at Lousiville Slugger Field before we watched a Lousiville Bats game and met the Louisville Bat mascot. Afterward, we had more Lousiville-style pizza from Impellizzeri’s. Sunday morning we had breakfast at Dish on Market before heading home. Louisville is just a little over an hour away. We’ll definitely have to come back when Louisville City finish their USL soccer stadium if not sooner. 😀🗺️📷❤️

Who knew Louisville is so dang awesome? And we can’t wait to go back.

My most steps in one day.

Yesterday, my Fitbit Charge3 tallied the most steps I’ve ever had in one day…

That’s a lot of steps! We love walking. Thanks for keeping count, Fitbit! 😀⚡️❤️
