My June Birchbox showed up in the mail today…
It had some face wipes, a couple of face cleansers, a moisturizer and some hair molding cream. Getting Birchbox is always really fun, and this was another good one! 😀🎁❤️

We saw another Northside sidewalk snail on our walk this morning…
I wonder if it’s just the same snail and we keep seeing it over and over. Whatever the case, snails are pretty neat. 😀🐌❤️

FC Cincinnati versus the Zlatan.
This evening FC Cincinnati played host to Zlatan Ibrahimovich and LA Galaxy. It was one of the few matches we were really excited about this season because of who was going to be on the pitch tonight at Nippert Stadium…
They were giving away free samples of Heineken 0.0 beer…
It might have been pretty good if it wasn’t warm.
And there he is, Zlatan Ibrahimovich…
Zlatan has is a prolific goalscorer who is best known for his technique, his creativity, strength, ability in the air, and his powerful and accurate striking ability. His career reads like a who’s who of the European giants. He played Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris St. Germain and Manchester United all before moving to MLS to join LA Galaxy.
Apparently, we weren’t the only ones there to see Zlatan…
Galaxy beat FC|C 2-0. But Zlatan didn’t score any goals. 😀⚽️❤️

Downtown details.
Most days Genifer picks me up from work. But on Tuesday and Friday evenings, I ride the bus home. I leave work and walk down Fourth Street. I walk by this construction site with TWO tower cranes…
And the future site of a Kitty’s Coffee…
Fourth Street has a lot of pretty architecture…
We’ll have to check out Aster sometime soon…
I walk down Fourth Street to Walnut Street. And as I walk up Walnut, I walk by the Renaissance Hotel…
I wait for the bus at Government Square. And when I get on the bus, it goes right by the building that was getting built across the street from where I used to work…
It’s grown considerably since I moved on to much greener pastures. It’s grown to six floors now in just over six weeks. It’s not a bad walk across downtown at all.
I’ll have to do a better job of documenting my walk down Fourth Street to catch the bus at Government Square. 😀🏙️🚧❤️

It looks really nice! She did such a nice job. Maybe Oscar can go up and down the stairs on his own without having to be carried. 😀🏘️❤️

Jalapeño Common at Second Place.
We have a thing for spicy beers. We saw that Second Place had a Jalapeño Common from Darkness Brewing in Bellevue, Kentucky on tap. So we stopped on the way home from work to give it a try…
And it was a really good one. Just the right amount of heat. We’ll have to put Darkness Brewing on the list of places to visit sometime soon. 😀🍺🌶️🥈❤️
