We made BLTs for dinner tonight…
With turkey bacon…
And they were delicious…
BLTs are just some of the best sammiches. I wonder if I’m the only person that loves to put a slice of cheese on my BLT? But then again, I love to put cheese on just about everything. 😀🥪❤️

It looked like it was going to be a very pretty day. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky.
People at the end of the street were having a tree removed this afternoon…
There’s where the tree used to be…
Now, there are no trees at the of the our street. It looks weird. Just kind of empty.
And they ground up the tree trunk with all the limbs and added it to the giant wood chip at the end of the street…
Hooray for more wood chips. 😐 And good evening from Northside…

It was a beautiful day. We hung out in our backyard…
And we went back to Taft’s Brewpourium for more delicious New Haven style pizza…
Ohmigosh! We love Taft’s pizza. I think it’s our very favorite pizza in all of Cincinnati.
Later, we took the dogs around the block….

We stopped at Biggby for our weekend morning coffee…
We ran over to Home Depot to get some more stuff for our front yard…
Like this tomato and citronella…
This was our first trip to Home Depot in a long time. And it was also our last trip to Home Depot after we heard they pledged to back Orangey McLiarface’s bid for re-election in November. I should have guessed it with all the orange at Home Depot. We’ll just be shopping at Lowe’s from now on.
On our way back home, there was a train going by overhead…
We got this cute little shrub and planter at Home Depot with our gift card…
After working on our front yard, we fired up the grill…
Those burgers were from Whole Foods and they were out of this world good.
I think it would be interesting to do a coffee table book about the alleys in Northside…

We also planted some little purple flowers in front of our bricks…
Our front yard is looking a lot better than it did a year ago…

Before I started work this morning, we ran over to Whole Foods at Rookwood Commons in Hyde Park to get some groceries…
The grocery aisles at Whole Foods are one-way streets…
Someday, we’ll have to try Ninja Squirrel Sriracha…
And some of these Bearitos…
And this spicy chicken noodle soup…
Summer must be here! Because we found a mini-keg of Bell’s Oberon!
Whole Foods has some really good stuff! And speaking of good stuff on our way back home from Whole Foods, we stopped for some delicious Biggby Coffee…
After I finished all my work for the day, we walked down to Higher Gravity for a beer…
Later, we walked the dogs around the block…
And we got to see this ScareCorona all lit up…
And finally, good evening from Northside…

We had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals for dinner tonight. This one was Pork Egg Roll in a Bowl with crispy wontons and peanuts…
It was really good. But I don’t know that it tasted like an egg roll really at all…
Even after you added the crispy wontons and peanuts…
I had one bite that kind of tasted like an egg roll. And that was it. It would have been a really good meal if you weren’t expecting it to taste like an egg roll. It was really good.
But it just didn’t taste like an egg roll to us. At all. Overall, it was just another really incredible dinner.
We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot. 😀🥡❤️
