Shopping in Over-the-Rhine.
After lunch at Sacred Beast, we did some shopping in OtR. We went to Mica 12v. They had this wall of clocks that was pretty mesmerizing to watch…
Then we went to The Native One. Genifer loves this store…
I wanted to steal these adorable dog toys, and I would take the dog bed too…
We saw this guy on Vine Street…
We went to Elm&Iron…
And then across the street to Elm&Iron Loft…
I think my dream job would be doing the Instagram for Elm&Iron. We stopped into Low Spark for a drink…
And then we walked down to Sundry and Vice for a drink before heading home…
We love their amazing cocktails. It was a really fun afternoon of shopping and hanging out in OtR. 😀🛍️🍹❤️

Lunch at Sacred Beast.
We went down into Over-the-Rhine for some holiday shopping this afternoon but first, we stopped at new diner spot, Sacred Beast for lunch…
It’s really nice inside…
We ordered a bunch of food…
I ordered the crispy chicken with dipping sauces…
We shared a side order of fries…
Genifer ordered a single cheeseburger…
And apparently, the single cheeseburger has TWO patties! The double cheeseburger has three patties. That’s crazy! Oh, and we also added a side order of onion rings…
Holy geez. Everything was so delicious and awesome! We ate every last bite. And we were so stuffed. We can’t wait to come back for more at Sacred Beast. 😀🐐❤️

Everyday on our way home from downtown, we drive by this house up on the hill at the corner of West McMillan Street and Central Parkway…
I haven’t been able to figure out what’s going on with the facade. But it looks like they painted windows and buttresses and some sort of scene that involves a goat…
Thtat’s different. I wonder what the story is behind that uniqueness. 😀🎨🖌️❤️

Pause for paws.
When Genifer got home this evening, she found our holiday penguins on the floor. When she picked them up to put them back where they belong, she noticed bot of the penguins were missing their eyes…
Apparently, Oscar had chewed the eyes off of the penguins and left both sets on the dog bed that is on our living room sofa…
He’s such a butt. But he sure is cute…
Later, he made himself a little OscarNest on our third-floor sofa out of a pillows and sweatshirts…
What a silly head. 😀🐾❤️

It’s that time of year. Big trays of delicious cookies art showing up around the office…
These Busken cookies featuring the new logo I designed for Cincinnati Public Radio also showed up at the office…
It’s pretty neat to see a logo you designed printed on a cookie. I stopped at Graeter’s to get Genifer some of their delicious little tea cookies. They came in two sizes, a little box…
And holy geez that’s a lot of cookies basket…
You can never have too many cookies. And it seemed like there were a lot of them around today. 😀🍪❤️

Lost winter apparel.
When we lived downtown, we saw a lot of lost shoes and we saw a bunch of lost gloves and mittens. Now that we live just down the street from a school in Northside, we’ve been seeing kids winter hats…
I keep trying to set them all in the same place hoping that they will be found…
And we see the occasional mitten or glove too…
Those poor kids are going to be cold. 😀❄️❤️
