Thanks, Turntable Lab!

Good morning from Northside…

I had been waiting on this turntable package that I really liked from Turntable Lab. The only problem, it was out of stock for quite a while. I told myself that as soon as it was available again, I was going to order it.

It was finally available again. I ordered it. And today it arrived…

It sounds soooo good. Now we just need to start to get some more records.

Good morning from Northside…

For dinner tonight, we had our second HelloFresh meal. This one was Open-Face Pork Sausage Sammiches on cheesy garlic bread with green bell peppers and onions…

These meals are really delicious! I could really get used to eating these meals all the time.

In my Timehop today, there were these photos of water in our basement after a storm…

But even with all the rain we’ve been having, our basement is still dry now…

And speaking of Timehop, today was my 1095th Timehop in a row. Three years of checking my Timehop…

We can’t wait to listen to some music. 😀🌄🏡🎶🍽️💧❤️

The morning got off to a really pretty start…

Good morning from Northside…

Oscar was sitting like a sir…

Good evening from Northside…

In the mail today, I got a free limited edition Dribble sticker pack from Sticker Mule…

I love stickers. And these are some really neat ones.

We like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals so much that Genifer tried HelloFresh. HelloFresh delivers step-by-step recipes and fresh, pre-portioned ingredients right to your door. And our first meal kit also arrived today….

Here are the three meals we chose to try this week…

The first meal we tried was Hey, Honey! Salmon with potato wedges and zesty green beans…

Ohmigosh! It was such a delicious meal and it was so much food. I think we’re going to really like HelloFresh a lot! We can’t wait to try the other two meals.

In my Timehop today were these two photos of Genifer and Oscar hanging out in bed back when Genifer had to still wear glasses…

We had another great Tuesday. 😀🌄🏡🐾🍽️❤️

There’s leftover ice cream cake?!

Good morning from Northside…

Oscar came in to our studio office to hang out with me while I was working…

And we made it through another Monday…

Good evening from Northside…

We had pesto prosciutto tortellini and garlic bread for dinner…

And we had leftover ice cream cake for dessert…

We went outside after dinner, we saw that this big tree limb had fallen into our yard…

And these photos of Milan showed up in my Timehop today…

We was such a handsome guy.

Already three times this year.

As we were getting up and moving this morning, there was a loud pop that we could hear over our sound machine and then we lost power.

Oh. And it’s still grey and overcast…

Good morning from Northside…

On our way home from our walk, Duke Energy was already arriving on our street…

They had our power back on a little before 9 am. But I think this was already the third time we’ve lost power this year. And that’s a little worrisome. The Duke Energy website said there was an animal on the line. Poor squirrels.

Anyway, we have a lot of blooms in our front yard…

We had cheesy turkey wraps on the panini press for lunch …

The panini press has become one of my favorite little kitchen appliances.

After we finished our work day, we went on our walk and the sun was out!

Good evening from Northside…

We ordered El Taco Veloz through DoorDash…

Genifer gets the kids quesadilla with a side of beans and rice…

And I love their ground beef chimi…

El Taco Veloz is sooo good. I love that there is a service that will bring me a chimichanga whenever I really need one. What an amazingly wonderful world we live in.

If you look really close just above the leaf in the dirt, there was a little baby bird in the back corner of our backyard…

I don’t think the little bird had mastered flying yet, it would flap it’s wing but wouldn’t go anywhere. Eventually, it hopped through a gap in our fence where the side meets the back. Hopefully, it figures out how to fly pretty soon.

When we got upstairs, I was looking out our front window and I got the impression that tonight’s sunset might be really pretty…

I went back down to check it out in our backyard…

But it was just an okay sunset. But it was a really good day. We watched a couple more episodes of Lisey’s Story on Apple TV. And I’m super excited because the Euro Championship starts tomorrrow afternoon! 😀🌄🏡🇲🇽🫔❤️

Another Monday.

Dang. And it was ANOTHER overcast and rainy morning…

It was perfect weather for a Monday morning…

Genifer went to the grocery this morning and brought home these…

Our sidewalk had lots of berries on it this morning…

And it was still overcast this evening…

We had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals. This one was Cheddar Tortilla Chicken with pepper and potato hash…

It was another great meal. We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot. After dinner, we hung out on our back patio of a bit…

Tonight, we started watching Lisey’s Story on Apple TV. We made it through another Monday. 😀🌄🍽️🐾❤️

It was just a rainy day.

We only made it up to the end of the street…

And it pretty much rained all day. Genifer made cauliflower and chickpea curry for dinner tonight…

It was really good. She always finds the best recipes.

After we were done eating, it almost stopped raining long enough for us to get out and around the block…

And then it started raining some more. Ugh. It was just one of those rainy days.

We watched a few more episodes of Ragnarok tonight. 😀🌄🌧️🍜⛈️📺❤️

Ugh. We’re pretty done with the cicadas already.

We had panini sammiches again for lunch…

We ordered noodles from China Food via Doordash…

We ordered chow mein on the left and lo mein on the right.We thought the lo mein was better than the chow mein. But both were really tasty. And that was pretty much our Thursday…

Oh. And we started watching Jupiter’s Legacy on Netflix tonight. 😀🌄🥪🥡📺❤️

Mondays.

I had a busy morning of meetings and we get didn’t take the dogs on their morning walk until later. When we did take them out, I left my phone on the desk in our office studio. And that’s a bummer because it was a very pretty morning. But it was also very pretty this evening as well…

It was another great meal. We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot. And even though it was a super busy work day, it was a pretty good Monday. 😀🌄🍽️❤️
