TBT Pause for paws.

I love when this photo of Milan pops up in my Timehop. It looks like an old-timey photo. And he looks like some sort of best friend apparition. Always remembering all the good times with the bud dog. 😀🐾🦕❤️

Mack from one year ago.

Mack showed up in my Timehop this morning. He’s a pretty good dog. I like him.
And Timehop is pretty fun. 😀🦕🐾❤️

Our All-Star Legacy Brick.

Four years ago today, we received our Reds All-Star Legacy Brick…

We love checking up on our Reds All-Star Legacy Brick when we’re at GABP. 😍⚾️🧱❤️

Thanks for the memories, Timehop. 😀🦕🐾❤️

Four years ago today, I joined Timehop

I love checking my Timehop to celebrate our best memories, every day. It’s something I look forward to every morning. Timehop is pretty fun.😀🦕❤️

Three years ago.

Three years ago today, everyone was waking up to a world where the Chicago Cubs were finally World Series champions after 108 years…

GO CUBS GO! Thanks for the memories, Timehop! 😀🦕⚾️❤️

That reminds me, if you ever get the opportunity to watch Let’s Play Two, it’s terrific…

Let’s Play Two is a documentary that chronicles Pearl Jam’s legendary performance at Wrigley Field during the Chicago Cubs historic 2016 season. With Chicago being a hometown to Eddie Vedder, Pearl Jam has forged a relationship with the city, the Chicago Cubs and Wrigley Field that is unparalleled in the world of sports and music.

It’s just an incredible film that made me fall in love with Pearl Jam all over again. And it does an amazing job of telling the story of the years of heartbreak to the elation of Cubs fans and mystique of Wrigley Field and how it all intertwines with Pearl Jam playing Wrigley Field during Cubs magical run to their World Series championship. That’s a wicked long run-on sentence but it’s just a great documentary that I ended up buying and watch probably once a week.

And while we’re talking about baseball during the non-baseball season, peep this…

It’s all the Cincinnati Reds Big Red Machine team shown through baseball cards framed on a baseball diamond organized by player position. I’ve never really seen anything like this and I just thought it was also really pretty neat.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Northside! Oscar could sense something amiss in the air…

It was time to break out Oscar’s dinosaur costume. We were happy that he got to wear his adorable dinosaur costume for a little bit…

These pictures really don’t show it but Oscar gets so mad when he has to wear his Halloween costume. We got a few photos and then it came right off. He wears his dinosaur costume just long enough to get a photo every year…

We tinkered briefly with the idea of handing out candy tonight. But it was sooo cold and sooo rainy that we decided to go to Taft’s Brewpourium to eat delicious pizza and BBQ chicken wings…

Going to Taft’s Brewpourium on Halloween is kind of becoming a yearly tradition. We did the same exact thing last year to have a Taft’s Gourd to Death

Taft’s pizza is so delicious. Eating pizza was a much better idea than sitting out in the cold and rain, handing out candy to strangely dressed children. We sat there at Taft’s just stuffing our faces full of pizza and BBQ wings while we watched our birds-eye view of our street from our third-floor WyzeCam

Not surprisingly, there weren’t a ton of people out and about. Thanks for all the great memories, Timehop😀🦕🍬🎃❤️

Our beloved bud dog passed away four years ago in the middle of the night…

It’s really hard to believe Milan’s been gone for four years now. There hasn’t been a day that’s gone by where we still haven’t missed him in bunches even after all this time. He’s still always in our thoughts each and every day. And I’m so very thankful that a couple of bud dog photos still show up in my Timehop a few times a week…

All of us still miss you so very much, Milan. You helped me through one of the roughest patches of my life and helped me come out the other side. You were always there for me. Always there with me. You were the best friend I’ve ever had. And it breaks our hearts that you’re not still here with us now. You would have loved our big house with our little backyard and our neighborhood with all the walks we take through the woods. You were definitely taken from us far too soon. 😦

Rest in peace, bud dog. I will always love you and miss you
more than words could ever possibly say. 😢

Four years ago, we saw The Mersey Beatles at Aronoff Center…

They were so amaaazing. Best Beatle tribute band I think I’ve ever seen. Thanks for the memories, Timehop! 😀🇬🇧🎶🦕❤️

#TBT Pause for paws.

Four years ago, Milan seemed like he was feeling better and back to his old self…

Little did we know, he would pass away just a week later in the middle of the night. We miss you so much bud dog. 😥🐾❤️
