A day of pretty skies.

The clouds were really pretty when we woke up this morning…

But it was getting pretty gray when we were taking the dogs on their walk…

Good morning from Northside…

They were working on our street again this morning…

I’ve really enjoyed watching all the machines from our WyzeCams…

We had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals for dinner tonight. We had the Stroganoff Pork Meatballs with potatoes and peas again…

The stroganoff sauce was so good we had to have this meal again. And it was another really delicious dinner the second time around. We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot.

It was sprinkling a little bit as we took the dogs around the block…

Good evening from Northside…

The sky was really pretty this evening…

It was a really beautiful blue-gray.

And the sunset was even prettier from our backyard…

It was just a day of very pretty skies. 😀🌄☁️❤️

We watched Enola Holmes on Netflix tonight. It was cute and pretty good.

Hello from Northside.

Apparently, the construction crew doesn’t work on Fridays because it is very quiet on our street this morning…

Good morning from Northside…

We walked to get Sidewinder to get coffee…

Our little shrub in our front yard had a couple of pretty little autumn looking flowers blooming on it…

We walked to the Helltown Bazaar Workshop…

It was their last day. They were going out of business tomorrow…

It’s not super surprising that they are closing their doors. They had really strange, very sporadic hours. Like Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 to 3. No real wonder they went out of business.

We got a vintage coffee mug and some new masks. Today was National Quesadilla Day. Then we continued on to Django Western Taco to pick up dinner…

We shared a jerk chicken quesadilla and some tacos and chips & salsa…

We also got some churros and caramel sauce…

And a slice of lemon cheesecake…

And good evening from Northside…

It was a great Friday in Northside. 😀🌄☕️🛍️😷🌮❤️

They showed up bright and early to start working on our street again…

And the drilling started in front of our house…

Good morning from Northside…

This morning we popped our flowers out of the ground…

It was well after 1pm and they still weren’t working on our house yet…

And they must have accidentally hit the water main…

Because all of a sudden, our street was a river. Again…

And that was all they managed to get accomplished today.

Our street is a patchwork quilt of steel plates right now…

For dinner tonight, we had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals for dinner tonight. This one was Stroganoff Pork Meatballs with potatoes and peas…

It was another really delicious dinner. The stroganoff sauce has always been one of my favorites. We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot.

Maybe they’ll work on our house tomorrow. 😀🌄🚧🌊🍜❤️

Another good Saturday.

We love our new little side yard…

And we love our backyard fence…

Good morning from Northside…

This afternoon we drove out to West Chester…

We had lunch at Dingle House…

They had a peanut butter milk stout from Left Hand that was just out of this world…

Genifer ordered Mike’s pastrami on sour dough…

I had a half-order of their fish and chips…

While we out in West Chester, we visited Geri for a bit, gathered Oscar and Bear to finally bring them back home with us and then we headed back to Northside…

Good evening from Northside…

And this evening, we watched Minnesota United draw with Houston and Louisville City thump Memphis…

It was another really good Saturday. 😀🌄🇮🇪📺⚽️❤️

We walked to get coffees from Sidewinder…

When we were out in Duck, I got this huge tub of cheese balls. And today with lunch, I ate the very last cheese ball…

It was kind of hazy all day long…

For dinner tonight, Genifer made the autumn sausage veggie & apple sheet pan.
It’s one of our favorites…

And it’s actually starting to feel like autumn again. 😀🍂❤️

Oh hoser, eh?

The sun looked pretty this morning as it rose over Northside…

It kinda looked like something out of Star Wars or a sci-fi film…

The hazy sun was probably still because of the wildfires out west.

Good morning from Northside…

It was too dark to get a decent photo of it last night. But we took one of our old fence posts, and turned it into a hanger for our garden hose…

I saw something similar on Pinterest and thought it would be a neat idea because I could never really figure out what to do with our hose.

The skies were still pretty hazy this evening…

And we had an NYPD calzone party tonight. We’ve been all about the NYPD lately…

Genifer had just pepperoni in her calzone. I had sausage, ham and green olives in mine. And we shared a small french fry…

YUM! NYPD is so good.

Later this evening, we finished watching the second season of Cobra Kai. It was really good. We can’t wait for the next season to see what happens. It’s always tough to figure out what to watch next after you finish a season of something. 😀🏡❤️
