Habañero Burrito Monday!
On our way home from my physical therapy, we stopped in Clifton Gaslight District to pick up some delicious Habanero burritos because it was $5 Burrito Monday and we haven’t had $5 Burritos in a little while…
How adorable is this bottle opener they had at Habanero?
YUM! And for the first time, we both actually managed to finish our burritos. You can’t beat $5 Burrito Mondays. 😀🌯❤️

Brunch at Django Western Taco.
We walked to Django Western Taco for brunch this morning…
We grabbed a seat at the bar next to this guy…
We started with some chips and salsa…
Genifer ordered the Fritos Mac&Cheese…
I ordered the Northside Slam with eggs scrambled, bacon, chipotle roasted tomato, Texas toast and Chef Josh’s famous tater tot casserole…
It was a really delicious brunch. It’s so nice to be able to walk to places again. 😀🌮❤️

Two vastly different Saturday nights.
They wore me down. I tried my best to resist. But this evening, I gave in to temptation. I got Taco Bell in Northside for the second time. I finally tried those Nacho Cheese Fries that seemed to be in every other commercial during the basketball tournament…
The fries were a bit disappointing. They weren’t bad. But they also weren’t anything all that special. Just some average fries with nacho cheese for dipping. I wasn’t expecting much from anything that only costs a dollar at Taco Bell. But the chalupas were every bit as good as I remembered them…
After inhaling a couple of chalupas and finishing my nacho fries, I hung out with the pups and just watched basketball for the rest of the evening…
Meanwhile, Genifer had a girl’s night. And went out for drinks with our friend, Tayler…
They went to The Hamilton, Bistro Grace and finished up at Higher Gravity…
Michigan advanced to the Final Four after surviving their Elite Eight matchup against Florida State, 58-54. We both had very different but very fun evenings. 😀🌮🐶🏀🍸❤️

Breakfast at Blue Jay.
We were supposed to get a big snow storm today. I heard up to 5 inches of the cold white stuff. Before the snowpocalypse, we headed to Blue Jay for breakfast…
I had pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage with toast. It was so good. And I almost finished everything. But the real standouts were the biscuits and sausage gravy that Genifer ordered. Wow! They were incredible.Next time, I’m either getting those or I’m getting the Northsider Omelet topped with their homemade Cincinnati chili! When we were heading home, we could help but notice this Elvis lamp next door in the window of Shake It Records…
And despite it snowing huge snowflakes, we really didn’t get very much snow on the ground. Five inches, pfffft. 😀🥞❤️

I had cheese coneys from Sports Page on Main for lunch today…
They were one of the specials of the day: buy three coneys, get one free. And you can’t beat that. They weren’t exact Skyline but they were still pretty dang good. 😀🧀🌭❤️

After work this evening we went to Taft’s Brewpourium for a celebratory beer or two with some loaded tots and knots after my six-week post-op checkup…
