Genifer made this amazing slow-cooker chicken enchilada chili for dinner tonight…

It was delicious! And there were crescent rolls too! I love crescent rolls!

YUM! Genifer is such a good cook. 😀❤️

This afternoon we dodged the raindrops and walked down to Higher Gravity to watch FC Cincinnati’s second to last match of the regular season away to Ottawa Fury and that other “professional” football team from Cincinnati was playing too…

Genifer’s mom, Geri has been staying with us while she closes on her new house…

FC Cincinnati lost to Ottawa 4-0. Now they sit precariously in the final playoff spot with one match remaining. After the soccer match, we went home to watch our Dallas Cowboys take on the Green Bay Packers. And we got some delicious NYPD Pizza for the late afternoon game…

Isn’t it amazing how all pizza is so similar yet so completely different at the same time?Oh. And the Cowboys lost on the final drive of the game, 35-31. It was another really fun day in Northside if you get past all the losing. 😀🍺🍕🤠🏈😕❤️

Recently, I was asked to participate in the EZVIZinsider Review program.
EZVIZ is a company creating ways that connect you visually to your life. No matter where you are, EZVIZ cloud services and smart home video technology can help you feel like you’re home—right from the palm of your hand.
I love my OscarCams. We have the original OscarCam, the V380 from Zeng Qingyao on a shelf in our living room. I got it through a very inexpensive email deal. When we first got it, you had to switch the language settings from Chinese to English, and set-up was a real headache. But after the nightmarish set-up, it works fine. And I like it because you can rotate the camera from the app to search around the room to look for Oscar. We also use Alfred, a free mobile app that can turn any old Android or iOS devices you have laying around into home security cameras. They work pretty well with much easier set-up than the V380. I don’t really have any complaints. We have two of them fixed on our first floor doors. Sometimes you can see Oscar with them. But not a lot of the time. When EZVIZ got in touch with me, I jumped at the chance to add another OscarCam to our living room… for free! The first EZVIZ product they asked me to review was the EZVIZ Mini O. And it arrived on our doorstep yesterday…

It’s a pretty small little camera and very pink…

We decided just to stand it in one of the little cubbies in our tv console…

It has a very strong magnet in its base and comes with a variety of different attachment options that would allow for it to be installed almost anywhere in any position in your home, and it has an extra long cord to stretch to a nearby outlet. It’s a stationary camera but it has a very wide-angled 111º fish-eyed lens that captures our entire living room in crisp 720p HD Video…

You can also activate instant motion alerts, night vision, and it has real-time, two-way audio. It also works with IFTTT, the free applet and services platform that helps you do more with all your apps and devices. There are all sorts of applets for the ENVIZ cameras. Everything from turning on sleep mode to arming the motion detection.
And set-up for the Mini O was a breeze. We just plugged in the camera, downloaded the app, scanned the QR code on the bottom of our Mini O and we were all set to go.
It was literally, plug and play.
We checked in our Oscar throughout the day while we were out and about just to see what he was doing. And it worked great. The Mini O is a really great addition to our OscarCams. At $59.99, it’s price point is a little bit more than I would be willing to spend to add too many more of them to our home. But if another Mini O or two were to show at our door, I wouldn’t be mad at all. It’s a great little camera! 😀🎦❤️

We went back to Taft’s Brewporium for lunch today…

I really like their New Haven-style “apizza…”

We watched some of the baseball and then we watched Michigan lose to Sparty.

It was a really fun day up until the losing part. 😀🍺🍕〽️🏈😕❤️

This evening we just stayed in and watched the USMNT take another huge step towards qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia with a 4-0 rout over Panama…

If the USMNT can beat Trinidad & Tobago on Tuesday, they’ll be packing their bags for Russia next summer! 😀⚽️🇺🇸❤️

After work this evening, we walked through the Northside Farmer’s Market…

We stopped at Urban Artifact to try their latest creation called Love Letter Peach Midwest Tart, have another taste of their Anaglyph Banana Midwest Fruit Tart and try their new Spicy Chariot Tart Cherry Gose…

Then we stopped a taco at Django Western Taco because it was National Taco Day!

And then we headed home…

It was a pretty good Wednesday in Northside! 😀👨🌾🍺🌮❤️
