A grey day at Grey.

It was a rainy and grey day at Grey…

But there was a little bit of sunshine waiting in one of Grey’s refrigerators…

It’s a DQ ice cream cake! We must be celebrating June birthdays soon! 😀☂️🎂🍦❤️

UPDATE: We had DQ ice cream cake on Friday!

Also, DQ ice cream cake is so good!

It has begun.

The USWNT finally got their World Cup started with today’s match against Thailand…

It was pretty neat to see USWNT on the big screen at work today. When I got out of my meeting, they were already up 7-0. And they would go on to a shocking 13-0 thumping of Thailand. 😀⚽️🏆❤️

Tuesday Steak Night at Galla Park.

Down in The Banks where Crave used to be is now a place called Galla Park. Tonight after work, we stopped at Galla Park. Because tonight was the very first Galla Park Tuesday Steak Night…

We each enjoyed an amazingly delicious 14oz. Prime New York Strip of certified angus beef, fried garlic & herb redskin potatoes and a Caesar salad for just $19!

And Genifer enjoyed a delicious craft cocktail for only $5 but I forgot to take a photo of it.  I wish every Tuesday could be this delicious. 😀🥩🥗🥃❤️

We ate this.

At work, there are two entire refrigerators that are stocked full of different food items for everyone to enjoy. They almost always have a bunch of different loaves of bread, cheeses, ham and/or turkey. And today, I made myself first sammich I made with the company lunch meat at Grey Midwest

It’s pretty cool. And pretty brilliant. If you give your employees access to a bunch of different food stuffs, they’ll make themselves something to eat and get back to work instead of running out and taking a long lunch. Pretty clever.

And then we had spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner…

I love spaghetti and garlic bread. 😀🥪🍝❤️

A Grey Friday.

As promised, I switched desks at work today. I wasn’t the only person. Almost everyone shifted desks at work today. Here was my old set-up…

And here is my new set-up…

Pretty much exactly the same. Just a little bit further from the window. Bit of a bummer.

And that makes this, the last WyzeCam photo from Grey Midwest

Dang. At least, they brought in a whole bunch of different McDonalds breakfast stuffs for the big move this morning…

I ate a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit and almost immediately didn’t feel good. And that’s why I don’t eat McDonalds.

The view from the other side of Grey’s floor looking east is so pretty. I love all the highways overlapping each other and there are some train tracks over there with the Ohio River and the rolling hills in the background…

And those clouds…

If I could set-up a WyzeCam looking out of this window. I would probably watch this view all day long. I’d never get anything done.

On the bus ride home, I got to see the progress they’ve been making on the building they were constructing across from where I used to work…

They’ve really made some progress. And I finally feel like have too. 🤔💻📷🚧❤️

Look up in the sky.

Compared to yesterday, today was very pretty downtown…

I really like my window view at work. But tomorrow, I have to change desks and most likely won’t have my spot by the window anymore. And it’s a bummer. 😀🏙️🌫️❤️

Thunderstorms.

Some storm clouds rolled through downtown this morning…

And holy geez, did it get dark outside…

Yikes. 😀☂️❤️

Checking out the WyzeCams.

We had an extra WyzeCam just laying around the house so I took it to work with me and pointed out the window at my desk so we could watch the sky over Carew Tower

It’s a pretty nice view. Good morning from downtown Cincinnati. 😀📷🏙️❤️

Sunday funday.

This afternoon we went downtown got an Uber to see this afternoon’s Reds game…

They were playing the Pirates in a doubleheader today…

We had tickets way back at the beginning of the season for the Reds second game…

But it got rained out which led to the FC|C monsoon game

There’s this new outpost bar out by the Wiffle ball field at GABP…

They’re always adding something new at the ballpark…

And the Reds lost 8-5. But of course, they won the second game 8-1 with a Jose Iglesias grand slam in a six-run first inning. And Puig and Double D went back-to-back in the 7th. Figures. After the game, we passed through Taste of Cincinnati…

Soooo many people. We also walked by our old apartment building. They built a whole brand new dog area in front of Sycamore Place…

It looked really nice. It smelled a bit like dog pee when we were walked by but it was a much better use of the space than when it was just a silly ten space parking lot…

And we kept walking up in OtR to have lunch at The Pony

And then we hopped in an Uber and headed for home. It was another really fun Sunday. 😀⚾️🐴❤️

And a cherry on top.

On our way home from work tonight, we stopped at Northside Distilling Company for a happy hour drink…

I’m in love with their White Russian called The Dude. It’s one of my favorite drinks in all of Cincinnati. And it was an Old Fashioned for Genifer. She love’s a good Old Fashioned…

I finally got a few decent photos of one of the cherries for our drink being carmelized…

Northside Distilling Company makes some pretty outstanding cocktails. 😀🥃❤️
