Genifer made buffalo chicken pasta for dinner tonight…
With garlic bread…
And we shared this slice of rainbow cake for dessert…
We watched a couple of movies on Amazon Prime Movies again. We watched Alex Cross. It was pretty good but it turns out we had already seen it and Nocturne. It was pretty bad. We need to find a new series to watch on Netflix. The sooner, the better. 😀🌄🌨️❄️🔥📺❤️
It was another really delicious meal. The feta chicken was really good. And the green beans were topped crispy onions straws. It was really good. We like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot.
Tonight, we watched Super 8 on Amazon Prime Video. It was good. Super cute. But you could tell it was an actual movie, not the typical low-budget schlock that you find on Prime Video. And that kind of takes some of the fun out of watching a movie on Amazon Prime. 😀🌄🌨️❄️🐔📺❤️
There were perfect sledding conditions on the hill at the end of our street. But I had so much work to do that I didn’t have time to partake. The next time it snows we’re finally going to sled the hill. All afternoon, we could hear kids screaming as they were sliding down the hill. When we went our walk this evening, we could see that the hill had got a lot of love today…
Someone lost their mitten gloves…

Fast forward to this evening and the sun was still out…

Genifer ordered a new little desk and it arrived today…
And we assembled it this evening. It looks really nice…
And Genifer made breaded chicken tenders and curly fries for dinner…
It was another good day. But I have no idea for the life of me what we watched this evening. All the days ran together on me. I’m pretty sure we watched a movie on Hulu but I have no idea what which one. Why doesn’t Hulu have a watch history?
But at least, we made it through another week. 😀🌄☀️🏡🐔❤️
When we up atop the hill at the end of our street, a pretty big group of geese in their flying V formation flew by in front of us…
And then it was followed by two more Vs, all heading in the same direction…
Interestingly… A group of geese on land is called a gaggle. When they’re in flight, it becomes a skein, team or wedge of geese.
Also, scientists have determined that the V-shaped formation that geese use when migrating serves two important purposes: First, it conserves their energy. Each bird flies slightly above the bird in front of him, resulting in a reduction of wind resistance. The birds take turns being in the front, falling back when they get tired. This lets the geese fly for a long time before they have to stop for rest. The second benefit to the V formation is that it’s easy to keep track of every bird in the group, and may assist with the communication and coordination within the group. Ahhh.. the internet.

And by this evening, most of our snow had melted again…
It was another really delicious meal. The meatballs were terrific and the bacon potatoes were really good. But honestly, it felt like something like that could just as easily been made from scratch. And that’s a good thing because maybe we could make this one again. It was really good. We like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot.
And then we went upstairs to try to find a movie to watch…
We watched The Rhythm Section on Amazon Prime. It was not terrible. But our day was pretty good, especially for a Monday. 😀❄️🍽️🐾📺❤️

We broke camp a little early this afternoon to go run and pick up pizza for our Thursday night pizza party…
But tonight, we got Domino’s for our pizza party, and we were pretty excited…
Ohmigosh. It was so good. We love pizza. We hadn’t had Dominos in a bit. Soooo good.
After we stuffed our faces, we took the dogs out around the block…

Oscar has been working on his hedgehog’s nose for a while now. He chews on it almost every night and it’s getting comically long…
He loves that dang hedgehog. It’s one of his favorite toys.
And speaking of favorites, I love the comic book, Usagi Yojimbo. I lost track of it for a while. But recently, I rediscovered just how amazing the graphic novels are. Stan Sakai, the artist who created the series, is one of my favorite artists. I learned so many things about art and drawing from his his comics. I saw on Instagram that Usagi Yojimbo is coming to Netflix…
This has the potential to be so amazing if it stays true to the original. I’m very excited. Almost as excited as I was for our pizza tonight. 😀🌄❄️🍕🐾📺❤️
We ventured out to try something new this afternoon, Agave & Rye in Rookwood…
We started with some chips and guacamole…
Genifer loves guacamole…
And it was really good at Agave & Rye. We also started with the elotte…
And we each had an epic taco. Genifer had The Buddha: teriyaki 5-spice tofu, sticky rice, baby corn, water chestnuts, cilantro, green onion, carrots, red bell pepper, Shiitake mushrooms, crispy wontons, sweet thai chili sauce…
I love ground beef tacos. And they’re kind of hard to find out. Agave & Rye had two on their menu. So this time I ordered The Cousin of Vinnie: seasoned ground beef, tomato-vodka sauce, mac n cheese, white cheddar, tobacco onions and queso cushion in between the two taco shells…
Next time, I’ll try the other ground beef taco. Their tacos were amazing and huge. And they had a bunch of interesting sounding tacos on their menu.
Everything we ordered was delicious…
Agave & Rye had a whole bunch of arcade game that would have been fun to play…
But we’re still in the middle of a pandemic and I didn’t want to touch anything…
Agave & Rye was incredible. Everything was delicious. Their tacos were huuuuge. And we left so stuffed. I think we just found our new favorite taco shop now that Django Western Taco has moved out of Northside.
When we got home, we took the dogs out around the block…
And it was still cold…

We ended up taking a nap. And later, we watched the NFL playoff games…
I was happy to see Tom Brady win. I was sad to see Drew Brees lose. And I thought the refs jobbed the Browns. How did they miss this helmet-to-helmet hit? Most likely, it cost the Browns a touchdown and they would end up losing by 5 points. Next weekend, I’ll be cheering for Brady and the Bills. Because nothing would be worse than a State Farm Superb Owl with Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes. I don’t really care for either of them very much.
But anyway, we had a really great day with some epic tacos! 😀🌄❄️🌮🐾🏈❤️
We had a Kroger flatbread pizza for lunch with Caesar salad. It was really good. Somehow, I didn’t take a photo of it. I don’t remember what we had for dinner.
