Happy National Sausage Pizza Day!

Today was National Sausage Pizza Day. And I love sausage pizza. It’s my all-time very favorite pizza topping.  On our way home, we stopped at Taft’s Brewpourium

They had their delicious Gourd to Death Brown Ale on tap…

It’s sooo good. And speaking of good, the Brewpourium was running a special today. You could get a 16” sausage pizza AND a six pack available for just $16 to celebrate National Sausage Pizza Day! We ran into our friends Chris and Tayler. And played a few rounds of Last Call Trivia with them. Our team led after the first round and then it all kind of went downhill from there. We brought home our pizza and six pack…

Their pizza is so delicious! I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate! 😀🍕❤️

Tag! You’re it.

I guess when someone covers up your work it’s important to maintain your sense of humor even when your work is on the side of a building…

I’m still keeping an eye out for more examples of this. It’s kind of beautiful in its own unique way. Taken with Instagram. 🎨🖌️❤️

Good evening from Northside.

Good evening from Northside. It was kind of grey and overcast this evening. It wasn’t nearly as pretty as the sunrise this morning but still pretty nonetheless. 😀🌄❤️

Seen and noted.

I couldn’t figure out if this post should have been a Seen and noted or a Tag! You’re it. I’m guessing someone with the city wanted to make sure everyone knew that there is a pole right there at the end of that arrow…

And in case we forget where the pole is located, we can always just check our third-floor OscarCam. Oh, wait. There’s the pole…

It’s a good thing that the pole is now clearly labeled. And it ended up as a Seen and noted because as Genifer pointed out, it’s not really graffiti. 😀🖌️❤️

Good morning from Northside.

Right now, we’re in that sweet spot perfect time of year just before the time change when the sunrise is in sync with when we’re getting up in the morning to go to work. And the sunrises have been pretty spectacular…

And then when we were walking the dogs, we saw this gorgeous full-arc rainbow

And then just like that, the rainbow was gone. But looking back towards the sunrise was pretty gorgeous as well…

What an incredibly beautiful and magical morning. 😀🌄🌈❤️

One year ago today.

On October 10, 2017, USMNT lost 2-1 away to Trinidad & Tobago and as a result, they failed to qualify for the World Cup for the first time since 1986…

Today on the one year anniversary of the darkest day in U.S. Soccer history, the US Soccer Federation released this statement…

“Today we look forward. With the march towards 2022 underway and the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America as our guidepost, the U.S. Men’s National Team has embarked on a new journey. The hallmarks of the culture remain, with perseverance, grit and dogged determination fueled by the pride to represent the United States and each and every one of you. We take nothing for granted. The path ahead will be paved with successes and informed by setbacks. We will build strength through commitment and character, accepting challenges and rising every time we fall. We will be aggressive and play without fear, for history demonstrates that fortune favors the bold.

“Like any grand project, ours is a work in progress. We cannot do it alone. Pioneering a new path forward takes the will of a generation full of optimism and hope, bound by the belief that there is nothing we cannot achieve if we are united in the cause. This is the American spirit, from which is born the American dream. It is time to take our destiny in our own hands and turn that dream into a reality. And do it together. The future is US.”

Blah. Blah. Blah. The National Team has a whole bunch of bright talented youngsters that are starting to emerge from the ranks. But they still haven’t even hired a new coach for the National Team. I hope things start to get better soon for our team, and they can get thing s back to where they were and then start figuring out how to take things to the next level. But they sure are taking their sweet time. 😀🇺🇸⚽️❤️

It’s what’s for dinner.

We had spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread for dinner tonight…

I love spaghetti and garlic bread. 😀🍝❤️

66,000 check-ins!

This afternoon I tallied my 66,000th check-in on my Swarm

Obviously, I still really love my check-ins on Swarm! 😀⭐️❤️

Seen and noted.

Downtown Cincinnati’s Wood Hardware is all in the Halloween spirit…

And we picked up a couple of pumpkins for our front porch…

Now we’re in the Halloween spirit. 😀🎃❤️

Good morning from CBD.

Good morning from Central Business District in downtown Cincinnati. I took this photo just outside of work this morning. Taken with Instagram. 😀🌇❤️
