At least there were Shiny Stars.

We ran to the grocery again before work this morning…

We’ve found that going to the grocery early in the morning is the best time for us to go. And another surprising outage at the grocery were the bags of store brand cereal…

Thankfully, they still had lots of bags of Shiny Stars still. Shiny Stars are my favorite…

Did I mention I really like Shiny Stars? It’s my favorite cereal. πŸ˜€πŸ₯£πŸŒŸβ€οΈ

Here we go again.

It’s the start of week two of working from home. I wonder what Mack thinks of all this?

I wonder if he likes me being home all day, even though we just sit in the office all day. Or if he’s thinking, what are you still doing here? All I want to do is sleep. πŸ˜€πŸΎβ€οΈ

Social distancing pizza party.

We took delicious Donato’s pizzas and salads out to Geri in West Chester to check on her and make sure she was doing okay in the midst of COVID-19…

She is hanging in there, just like all of us. And the pizzas were delicious. πŸ˜€πŸ•πŸ₯—❀️

But first coffee.

Thankfully, Biggby’s drive-thru is still open for the time being…

Would a weekend without delicious Biggby beverages even be a weekend? πŸ˜€β˜•οΈβ€οΈ

I’m sure COVID-19 keep us from getting our weekend morning coffee at some point.

There still aren’t any paper products.

We stopped at Target out on the Westside this morning and there were still no paper products like toilet paper, paper towels or even napkins. Just empty shelves…

We didn’t need any. Thankfully, we had a good supply built up well before there was ever the thought of a pandemic. It’s just crazy to me just how little is available now. People are pretty ridiculous with their hoarding. 😠🧻❀️

Today felt like spring.

Yesterday was the first day of spring. But today actually felt like spring. While I was working from home in our office, I had the windows open and there was such a really wonderful breeze. Mack kept standing on the step and looking out the window…

I’d try to get him to go outside and he would run upstairs to the third floor…

He’d just sit at the top of the stairs andΒ  look at me. I guess he just wanted to enjoy the breeze and look out the windows. Oscar hung out with Genifer all day. πŸ˜€πŸΎβ€οΈ

I really enjoyed my first week of working from home. Everything worked really well.
I think I could get used to this.

Pause for paws.

Oscar hung out in Mack’s crate all day today while we were in the office…

I guess he was thinking that since he never really has to go in a crate that he would hang out in one today. He’s a little silly head. πŸ˜€πŸΎβ€οΈ

Also working from home: Day 3 is in the books. It was another really successful, good day without any real problems.

Working from home: Day 2.

Mack seems to have taken to me working from home pretty well…

He just crashed out on his dog bed in the office for most of the day while I worked on my stuff. He’s been really good hanging out with me so far. Genifer is at home too on Tuesdays. Oscar got to hang out with her all day. Oscar probably likes hanging out with her better because he gets to hang out with Genifer in one of the bigger rooms away from Mack for most of the day. πŸ˜€πŸΎβ€οΈ

Working from home isn’t too bad at all. Everything is going pretty smooth so far.

Working from home: Day 1.

On Friday, Grey Midwest had a trial run of all employees working from home. About half way through the day, it was recommended that all Grey Midwest employees should work from home until further notice. So this morning was the first official day of my working from home. Thankfully, we have our terrific little work space setup on our second floor, and it will finally get put to good use…

I pulled in some dog beds from upstairs and barricaded us in the office…

And I got to have some of my giant Lunchables I got at the grocery for lunch…

Everything worked really well. And it was so nice and quiet. Our internet was able to keep up with all the video conference calls and meetings. The dogs were really good all day. And I continue to make small adjustments to my working from home set-up but I’m really feeling it so far…

It’s definitely not terrible. I think I could get used to working from home. πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ’»β€οΈ

For the time being, Genifer still has to go into the office to work. Hopefully, she’ll be able to work from home soon too.

Is this heaven?

I really love milk & mocha bear. As a pretty big introvert, I really love the notion of working from home. And it looks like, over the next few weeks (maybe months), I’m going to get to see if working from home is as nice as I think it would be.

I hope everyone is going to be okay with their working from home, social distancing and self quarantines. Just like mocha bear, for me, it’s pretty heavenly. πŸ˜€πŸ»β€οΈ
