A new little record table.

It was another overcast and grey Monday morning…

But it was all blue skies and puffy white clouds this evening…

We had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals. This one was French Onion Chicken with peppercorn green beans…

It was another terrific dinner! And the beans were delicious with the crispy onions on them. We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot. And after dinner, we put together this new little record table for our living room…

Now we just need some more records and maybe a better record player with some little speakers or something…

It was another pretty good Monday. 😀🌄🌤️🍽️🎵❤️

Dropping off or picking up?

Good morning from Northside…

We saw a couple of Northside sidewalk snails on our walk this morning…

We’ve been working on some spring cleaning and gathering things that we didn’t use anymore to donate…

We gathered a bunch of stuff…

On the way home, we stopped at Flamingo Haven Antique Mall…

Because we just dropped off a bunch of junk, why not replace it with other junk?

We didn’t get anything but we fun wandering around and looking at all the stuff…

And good evening from Northside…

Trader’s World & Two Cities Pizza Co.

It was grey and rainy Saturday morning…

Good morning from Northside…

This morning we drove up north to Trader’s World…

We were looking for some planters or a little stone bench for our side yard…

There wasn’t any of what we were looking for. But it you were looking for FunkoPops, you were definitely in the right place…

And hot sauce. They also had hot sauce…

It was a very odd place…

We didn’t find anything at Trader’s World. It was kind of a bust.

On our way back to Cincinnati, we stopped to try Two Cities Pizza Co. in Mason…

Two Cities has both New York style and Chicago style deep dish pizzas…

We were so hungry. We started salads…

Two Cities makes their own ranch dressing…

We ordered both a Chicago style deep dish AND a New York style pizza…

Both pizzas were delicious. Genifer liked the New York style best…

I liked the Chicago style deep dish best…

And because it was our first visit, they brought us little warm powdered donuts…

The restrooms were like New York subway cars…

What a terrific place with delicious, delicious pizzas!

When we got home, we took the dogs around the block…

Good evening from Northside…

Later, we had leftover pizza because we had a bunch…

It was really beautiful outside this afternoon, so we took the dogs on an early walk…

And by the time it was six o’clock, the sun had disappeared and it was overcast and grey…

We’ve been vaccinated!

Good morning from Northside…

The Cintas Center has become a COVID-19 mass vaccination site…

And this afternoon we had appointments to get our COVID-19 vaccination…

The whole thing took about an hour…

And now we’ve been vaccinated!

Good evening from Northside…

We were feeling a bit achy and tired after our shots. After we walked the dogs, we just went upstairs and watched TV in bed for the rest of the evening. So it was just kind of like any other night.

The world almost felt normal today.

Good morning from Northside…

This morning we hopped in an Uber to get downtown to go to our first Reds baseball is what seems like forever. Before the game, we stopped at the relatively new DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) in The Banks…

We stopped at Fishbowl at The Banks to share a little fishbowl…

And then we headed into Great American Ball Park…

It felt so good to be back home…

BARGE!

And this one belongs to the Reds! They whooped the Cards 12-1.

We found our Reds All-Star Legacy brick…

We rode the Streetcar up into OtR. We walked to The Pony to share their incredible Chicken Fingers and then we were going to walk to Mecca for a drink or two but they don’t open until six. So we wandered around OtR for a bit…

And ended up at Holiday Spirits for a drink…

And then we hopped in an Uber and headed for home.

Good evening from Northside…

And it was an incredible day too. The world almost felt normal today. We’ve missed baseball so much. Especially Sunday baseball. 😀🌄⚾️🐔🍻❤️

We worked in our backyard all afternoon. We finished the retaining wall along our fence and took along our back fence too. And we put down a little edging barrier next to our sidewalk in our side yard…
