Guess who’s back?
Guess who’s back open after a brief COVID-19 hiatus? BIGGBY COFFEE! Genifer called Biggby and it turns out they reopened on Wednesday…
So this morning, we ran over to Madisonville to get some Biggby coffees…
We didn’t even need to look at the menu…
Genifer got a Caramel Marvel and I got the Cocoa Carmella with a bit of butterscotch…
Biggby Coffee is so delicious. We’re really happy that they’re back open. We haven’t had coffee from Biggby is almost a month. And that’s just too long. 😀☕️❤️

It was almost like being on vacation.
This morning we walked the four blocks to Sidewinder to get coffee…
Waking up early on a sunny, warm, beautiful morning and walking to get coffee, it felt like being on vacation. It was a wonderful way to start a Sunday at home. 😀☕️❤️

Sunny Blu Coffeehouse.
A while back a little coffeehouse in Cincinnati’s Camp Washington neighborhood followed me on Instagram. I followed them back. And I’ve been admiring them ever since. The coffeehouse was called Sunny Blu Coffeehouse. And this morning, we finally drove around the corner to Camp Washington to see what they were all about…
Sunny Blu Coffeehouse is super cute on the inside…
Genifer ordered a cappuccino with a little caramel added to it. I pondered what I would get for literally one second before ordering the Hot Vanilla Chocolate. People love their coffee, I love hot chocolate.
Sunny Blu also had some terrific-looking sweets…
But I had to try their french toast breakfast sammich. And we got these Cold Brew Cocktails to try later…

We really like Sunny Blu Coffeehouse…
And the best part is that Sunny Blu is located right on our way downtown. Camp Washington is conveniently located between Northside and Over-the-Rhine/Central Business District. It’s great to have another wonderful coffee that we can stop at on our way downtown in the morning. If we ever get to go back downtown again, that is.
I love Google Maps too…
And we love Sunny Blu. We can’t wait to come back. Very often. 😀🌞🔵☕️❤️
Oh, and the cold brew cocktails were really good too. Strong. But really tasty.

Ugh. The time change.
The time changed last night and it’s really messing us up this morning. We were tired…
And there was a wicked fierce glare on their sign…
But Biggby coffee makes everything a little bit better…
After we had our Biggby drinks, we went to the grocery. At Kroger, all Hot Wheels were a dollar. How cool is rat rod?
And there were Hot Tamales Peeps…
Wut? I am not a fan of Peeps. And I bet Hot Tamales Peeps are just gross. 😀☕️❤️

It was a great Saturday.
This morning started with some coffees from Biggby Coffee…
YUM! Biggby has terrific hot chocolate. I love mine with some butterscotch added to it.
After we had our drinks in hand, we stopped at JackRabbit in Obryanville…
At last year’s Higher Gravity Spring Grove Beer Gallop, Genifer won a $125 gift certificate towards a brand new running shoes from JackRabbit. And with this year’s Spring Grove Beer Gallop right around the corner, Genifer thought she’d better get some new running shoes…
Genifer got these Brooks running shoes…
These terrific running shoes only cost her $25. And that’s pretty awesome.
Later, we ran out to get lunch at Freddy’s Steakburgers…
Ohmigosh. I love Freddy’s Steakburgers….
I think I’ve finally zeroed in on my go-to Freddy’s order. I think it’s going to be the original double. This is the original double with bacon…
But next time and into the future, my order will be just the original double with fries…
I used to get the triple steakburger. Sometimes I could do it. But sometimes, it was a real struggle and it was too much. Freddy’s also has a patty melt that is really good. But it’s not like a traditional patty melt. But it’s still really good.
On our way home for Freddy’s, we stopped in College Hill at Brink Brewing. Brink is one of my favorite Cincinnati breweries…
They have such great beers. Our big beer was a King Cake beer. It was awesome. Brink always has something really interesting on tap.
And that was pretty much our Saturday. We were pretty happy that we actually got out and did something on a Saturday…
And it was a great Saturday.

Sunday sports day.
This morning we went to get our morning Biggby Coffee…
They had another BOGO coupon on their Instagram…
It’s pretty awesome that they have coupons. Not many coffee places do coupons at all.
And then we went over to Kroger to get some groceries for the week…
I didn’t know there was a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros cereal…
And that’s pretty funny to me because we just had Churros yesterday.
There were some good sports on TV today. We watched Arsenal finally win again, 4-0 over Newcastle United and both Michigan and Wichita State won big. We watched a little bit of the XFL games. And finally, we watched the NBA All-Star Game. And that turned out to be a really good game.
We also made this delicious Donatos oven pizza for our late lunch…
And it turned out to be a really pretty day. We took the dogs on a long walk…
It was just another really relaxing Sunday. 😀🌄❤️

Weekend morning coffee.
It’s Saturday morning and we’re contractually obligated to head over Madisonville to get our weekend morning coffee from Biggby…
Especially since Biggby had a BOGO coupon on their Instagram…
Wouldn’t that be awesome if we really were under contract to drink Biggby hot chocolate and post photos about it every weekend? It would be terrific. But we kind of do that every weekend anyway.
We just love our weekend morning beverages from Biggby. 😀☕️❤️

This morning we got up early to go over to get our weekend Biggby Coffee…
Genifer tried their Starry Night Latte. She said it was really good. And I got my Cocoa Carmella hot chocolate with butterscotch…
I get the same thing every time. Once we had our drinks, we headed over to Kroger to get some groceries. Valentine’s Day is next weekend and the Valentine’s Day stuff was pretty much everywhere…
We saw another chocolate Perfect Man…
We saw the perfect Valentine for a man…
All these adorable llamas said hey…
Also, chocolate Easter bunnies are out on shelf at Kroger…
I don’t know when Easter is this year. But it feels pretty early for Easter bunnies.
And we saw this panda bear in the international food aisle…
The panda was filled with these weird jello cups with floating bits of fruit…
I wonder if they’re any good? The Asian section of the international food aisle is usually where the odd ball stuff is stored.
There’s always something mildly interesting at the grocery store. 😀☕️💗❣️❤️
