It’s what’s for dinner.
A few years back during Reds games on Foxs Sports Ohio, they would always push JTM Meal Kits during commercial breaks. I always wondered if they were any good. Genifer got one of the JTM Chicken Philly Cheese Steak meal kits at the grocery. Tonight, we finally gave it a try…
The hoagie buns went in the oven…

We added some banana peppers because we love banana peppers on our cheesesteaks. We also made some oven fries to go with our cheesesteaks…
It was a really solid cheesesteak. They were very tasty. The buns became a little crispy after being warmed in the oven. I was genuinely impressed with just how good this sammich was! It wasn’t Penn Station goodness but it wasn’t far off. 😀🐔🧀🥩❤️

The Hamilton Hightail Run.
This morning Genifer ran in The Hamilton Hightail Run. Hosted by Higher Gravity and JackRabbit, The Hamilton Hightail Run was a bar and brewery run billed as a fun and social prep event for the Flying Pig Marathon…
The race started at Higher Gravity with a 2.8-mile run up the Hamilton Avenue hill to Brink Brewing in College Hill. From there the race came back down Hamilton Avenue to Urban Artifact and then ended with a 0.2-mile sprint down Blue Rock Street back to Higher Gravity…
And a little over two hours later, I spotted Genifer about to cross Hamilton Avenue back to Higher Gravity. And I managed to get a video of her finishing the run…
She completed the run in just over 2 hours and 20 minutes…
And then we got to have a couple of beers together. She said it was a pretty good run. The worst part about it was the leg up to Brink because it was almost entirely uphill. I chose to stay and wait for her at Higher Gravity. In hindsight, I should have just caught the 17 bus up Hamilton to meet her at Brink. And then rode the 17 back down Hamilton and walked over to Higher Gravity. If they do the run again next year, that’s exactly what I’ll do. 😀🏃♀️🍻❤️

FC Cincinnati versus Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
IT’S FC CINCINNATI MATCH DAY TWO! FC|C was hosting Pittsburgh Riverhounds…
The match ended in a 2-2 draw in front of a crowd of 24,505. It was a good game. Back and forth with FC|C coming back to tie the match twice. I took a bunch more photos at tonight’s match. Click to see all the photos I took at FC Cincinnati versus Pittsburgh Riverhounds. 😀⚽️❤️

Good evening from Parkers Woods.
While Genifer rested after her Lasik surgery, I took the dogs on their evening walk through the Parkers Woods Reserve at the end of our street…
We’ve been walking the dogs along this path almost every evening after work…
A few weekends back, we explored part of this trail…
At the end of the trail, we turned around and headed back home…
There are a lot of little side paths…
After playing a little bit in the backyard, they were all crashed out…
It’s all about just trying to wear the dogs out. 😀🌳🐶🐾❤️

Genifer had Lasik surgery.
This afternoon Genifer had Lasik surgery at Lasik Plus in Kenwood…
She was really nervous but powered through the procedure. We were at the doctor for about forty-five minutes. But the actual procedure only took about ten minutes, and then she was on her way home…
She was told to go home and take a four-hour nap. After she woke up from her nap, she could see just fine without contacts or glasses. She has to put medicated eyedrops in her eyes for the next couple weeks. And she can’t rub her eyes for some time while her eyes heal. But that’s pretty much that. It’s rather amazing what modern medical science can do nowadays. And that are people with the knowledge and intestinal fortitude to perform these procedures. 😀🏥👁️❤️
