Hooray for Fridays.

Good morning from Northside…

We ran over to Mad Llama to get some coffee before we started work…

And then I wrapped up my projects for the week…

We had the rest of our pizza for dinner and then it was good evening from Northside…

And we played ball in the backyard for another half-hour. I think playing ball is Bear’s favorite part of his day. Oscar’s favorite part is probably going on walks. I think Mack just likes everything. He’s just a very happy dog.

I just like it when the workweek is over and we can enjoy the weekend. 😀🗓️❤️

Brown and Cony Life.

I’ve pretty much gone off the Instagrams of late. But still, I scroll through now and then to check out a few of my favorite Instagram accounts. One of my favorites for a while now has been Milk & Mocha and another of my favorites has quickly become Brown and Cony Life.

Brown is a bear and Cony is a bunny. And their Instagram follows their interactions that are just so cute and their adventures are so random and everyday normal life. It’s also very Asian and the translated captions are pretty funny sometimes. But I just find it so cute and so funny.

Like when Brown & Cony went out to eat and the comic follows Cony’s whole routine to capture all her photos of the outing to upload to her social media…

And then the post the next day was a drawing of Cony’s photo collage…

It’s funny to me because it’s just what everyone does. Brown & Cony Life is pretty cute. And they upload a new post every night at midnight. 😀📷🐻🐰❤️

Remember Whip Classics?

Dang. Remember when we would stop after work on Thursdays at Queen City Radio for a Whip Classic and fries and maybe a cheese coney?

I miss those days so much. I miss being able to go places and do stuff. Stupid COVID-19.

Watching baseball one year ago.

One year ago today, we got to see the best player in baseball, Mike Trout of the Angels play baseball at GABP with our friends…

And we saw Mike Trout go yard…

And it was an awesome night. I miss going to Reds baseball games so much. Thanks for all the wonderful memories, Timehop. 😀🦕⚾️❤️

I ordered a new hose a couple of weeks ago. And it’s sprung a leak…

I contacted the company that I bought it from and they’re sending me a new one. So that’ll be pretty good.

And later, we played ball in our backyard for 30 minutes tonight…

Nine years ago today, my parents, Genifer and I got to see Sir Paul McCartney perform live in concert at Great American Ball Park during his On the Run tour…

It was an incredible show! Just beyond words good. And we had a perfect vantage point of the show from our seats…

A case of the Mondays.

There was a pretty sunrise this morning…

Good morning from Northside…

It was started out as another slightly overcast day…

Bear was crashed out with me in the office all day…

And we had delicious Mongolian meatball ramen for dinner…

But it turned out to be a very pretty evening…

Good evening from Northside…

And then we played some ball in our backyard…

The Reds beat the Indians 3-2. And we started watching Dexter on Netflix. It was a pretty good Monday as far as Mondays go. 😀🗓️❤️

Another overcast start.

Dang. It looked like it was going to be another grey and overcast Sunday…

The last day it wasn’t grey and overcast in the morning was Wednesday…

Nonetheless, good morning from Northside…

We saw some pretty flowers out on our walk…

And all these Black-eyed Susans…

And the sun came out for our evening walk…

And we played in our backyard for a while…

The sun was out in our backyard too…

It was a very low key Sunday. We didn’t do very much at all. We didn’t even go to Taft’s to get delicious pizza. Maybe next weekend. 😀🌄☁️🌻☀️❤️

A pretty good Saturday.

Today is August 1st. Can you believe that? For being pretty much confined to home since the middle of March, this year is going by really fast. I guess time flies regardless of your level of activity.

This morning started out as another grey and overcast Saturday but at least it was cooler and not as humid today. Good morning from Northside…

Genifer made these delicious banana bread cookies…

We were pretty lazy this morning…

After Arsenal lifted the FA Cup, we drove out to the far-north suburbs of Liberty Township for a cookout to celebrate Alyssa’s birthday. When we were leaving Northside, the skies looked really threatening…

And it rained the entire way to Liberty Township but once we got there it was very pretty outside. The sun came out and there were the biggest fluffiest clouds…
