This afternoon I got to celebrate the holidays at 302 with festive fun! The company that manages 302 West 3rd Street hosted a lunch catered by Out of Thyme…
There were Chicken Cordon Bleu sammiches (roasted chicken breast, applewood smoked bacon, swiss cheese, horseradish mustard on side), salad and broccoli cheddar soup…
The little sammiches were really good and broccoli cheddar soup is my favorite. And there’s nothing I love more than free lunch. 😀🥪❤️

PIZZA PARTY!
It was back to work today after being off yesterday. And we had an NYPD Pizza party tonight! On the way home from work, we stopped to grab some carry-out pizzas from NYPD. We each got a little personal pizza because Genifer wanted just cheese and I wanted some toppings tonight…
The toppings are hidden under all that delicious cheese. NYPD pizza sure is delicious!

Two hours south of our American HQ we opened an 8,500 sq ft beer mecca. With 24 taps of craft beer glory, a mezzanine chock full of games, and a beer school space for everything beer geekery, BrewDog Cincinnati is THE place to experience craft beer in The Queen City.
We’ve tried a few of the BrewDog beers before here and there. BrewDog was a guest at the HIgher Gravity Meet the Brewer on two different occasions…
The inside is huuuuge…
We started with a Choco-Libre and a Jet Black Heart…
The Choco Libre is a Mexican-spiced hot chocolate infused imperial stout. And Jet Black Heart is a 4.7% milk stout, loaded with oatmeal. Both beers were really outstanding!
We shared their $6 Tuesday burger special…
Terrific burger. I don’t know how someone could take down one of these monsters without any help. And the fries were great too. After finishing, we also tried one of their beer slushies (it was kinda weird), and an outstanding Renegade chocolate and peanut butter buckeye white stout…
And Genifer bought me one share of stock in BrewDog…
Now we get 5% off our tab and a whole bunch of other cool benefits. Before we left, I went up to take a peek at BrewDog’s upstairs game area…

It’s such an awesome space…
I have a feeling we’ll be coming back to BrewDog a lot. After all, we own part of the bar! 😀🍺🐶🍔🍟❤️

This afternoon we walked over across Northside to Urban Artifact…
We had one of Urban Artifact’s Epicurean Cranberry Jalapeno Jam…
And it was as delicious as it sounds. By the way, Wild Fire Pizza Kitchen is serving brunch now and it also sounds really delicious…
This weekend UA was hosting the Ohio Explored Ohio Maker Mart shop again…
After walking through the bottom, we walked upstairs…
There was some really great stuff…
After wandering around for a bit, we walked to Boswell’s Alley to get some Bos Bites…
And a Super Grill…
It’s so simple but it’s one of my favorites. It was another fun Northside Sunday. 😀🍺❤️

Pizza King pizza for the win!
This afternoon we hung out at home with my parents, ate delicious Pizza King pizza…
And watched Michigan Hoops compete in the Battle 4 Atlantis basketball tournament in the Bahamas. Yesterday, unranked Michigan knocked-off #6, North Carolina…
Oddly enough, Michigan beat North Carolina one year ago to the day. On November 28th 2019, the 7th-ranked Wolverines stormed back from an early double-digit deficit to beat the No. 11 Tar Heels 84-67 Wednesday in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Michigan forward Ignas Brazdeikis led all scorers with 24 points for the Wolverines.
Today, Michigan was playing #8, Gonzaga in the championship game…
Who has it better than us?! GO BLUE! 😀〽️🏀🏆❤️

Shrimp ‘n Jazz Festival.
When we were at Washington Platform last week, we noticed that they have a Shrimp ‘n Jazz Festival. I love shrimps. So we stopped tonight to check it out.
But guess what?
Shrimp ‘n Jazz Festival started on Friday. Today is Thursday. And that is what they call…
a bummer.
But since we were already at Washington Platform, we decided to eat anyway. Genifer ordered a side salad and twice-baked potato…
I ordered their Shrimp Casino, also known as bacon-wrapped BBQ shrimp…
Genifer out-ordered me tonight. Her potato was awesome. My casino had so much BBQ sauce on it. All you tasted was BBQ. It was just way too much BBQ. And I think that’s the first time I’ve ever made that statement. We got to look at the Shrimp Festival menu and it was pretty pricey. I was thinking we’re going to be good on Washington Platform for a little bit. But then the entire evening was salvaged because Washington Platform has some really amazing bread pudding…
And as much as I love shrimps. I love bread pudding even more. 😀🍤❤️
