Our home feels very empty without her with us. We miss her so much.

But this evening, the clouds moved in and brought some sprinkles…
When we got to the top of the hill at the end of our street, it went from sprinkling…

Apparently, they’ve started working on the house at the end of our street again…

We’ve been working on some spring cleaning and gathering things that we didn’t use anymore to donate…
We gathered a bunch of stuff…
On the way home, we stopped at Flamingo Haven Antique Mall…
Because we just dropped off a bunch of junk, why not replace it with other junk?
We didn’t get anything but we fun wandering around and looking at all the stuff…

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Good morning from Northside…
We ran over to the grocery this morning…
I thought Ice Bear had been pulled out of the claw machine…
But he was just moved from the front corner to the back corner. poor guy…
They were still out of pandas and trains…
But there were still plenty of Valentine’s Day balloons…
Lotsa balloons…
Cincinnati was expecting a big winter storm starting later in the afternoon. And that made the check-out lines really long…
And we stopped for coffees…
Arsenal smacked around Leeds United, 4-2. And Michigan was finally back from their three week COVID pause and they had to play away to Wisconsin…
And BOOM! They didn’t miss a beat…
After the Michigan game, we went over to Taft’s for pizza…
We tried Taft’s newest beer, Hazy Cabana Juice…
It was really good. We got some loaded tots…
Very blurry tots. And we got a pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza…
Taft’s had a Valentine’s Day special with a heart-shaped pizza and cannoli. We didn’t get the special deal but they had extra cannoli and gave us a couple…

And then we hung out and had a few drinks and watched Mavs basketball…
It probably wasn’t the world’s most romantic Valentine’s Day but it was a really great Sunday. 😀🌄☁️🍕🏀❤️

The sunrise was very pretty this morning…
Maybe it was super pretty but it’s the first sunrise we’ve had in a minute in the sea of infinite grey that has been the sky lately…
And even as I was looking at the sunrise, the grey sky was starting to take over…
When we went out on our morning walk, there was no sign of the sun…

And this evening it was sprinkling. So yeah, good evening from Northside…
For dinner tonight, we ordered Danny Boy Burgers through DoorDash. Danny Boy is the new burger place on the University of Cincinnati’s campus. Apparently, Danny Boy started last year as a virtual kitchen inside of Keystone Bar & Grill, They specialize in hamburgers, Impossible burgers, and crispy golden fries. And their burgers are only available for delivery from DoorDash and carryout…
We were so excited when we were ordering, look at how good that burger looks…
And here’s my Danny Boy Burger and fries…
It was a little shocking when we unwrapped our everything. They were really small burgers. In the photo on DoorDash, they looked so big. But after looking at the photo again, what was shown was pretty accurate. But in the screengrab above if you look at the size of the pickles in comparison to the size of the burger, those are either huge pickles or little burgers. And I think we know which one it was. Still, the burgers were delicious and surprisingly filling. Their fries were outstanding. And so were their shakes. Overall it was good but I don’t know if I would order Danny Boy again. After we were finished eating, we watched Crypto on Hulu. It was okay. We decided that movies about hackers and crypto-currency don’t make for the best plotlines.
Overall, today was a bit disappointing all the way around. But we made it through another day. 😀🌄☁️🍔🍟📺❤️

We got up pretty early this morning and it was still a little dark…
Good morning from Northside…
Before we got to work, we ran over to the grocery store because we didn’t feel like going over the weekend…
Ice Bear was still trapped in the claw machine…
And there were some great balloons. I still really like the frog balloons…
And the hummingbird bird was pretty neat too…
And we stopped to get some Biggby Coffee too..
And then we got down to business and knocked out all our work…
Tonight, we watched Snowpiercer on Netflix. We’re pretty late to the game on this one but it’s one of those Dystopian future society movies. We watched it. It was bad. So bad that three days later, we’re still talking about the plot holes in this movie, why they decided to save humanity from another Ice Age with a train that circumnavigates the globe and why that is quite possibly the dumbest way to save mankind. There was talk about putting together a Powerpoint presentation on just why it was so bad just in case this movie ever came up in conversation. I don’t know who we would be talking to, but we’d be ready just in case. 😀🌄☁️📺❤️
Also, come to find out Snowpiercer is a mini-series on TNT starring Sean Bean and Jennifer Connelly? My only question is… Whyyy?! I think we’re going to give that one a hard pass.

You could tell it was Monday because it was so grey and overcast outside.

And it was still very overcast this evening…
In fact, it looked nearly identical to this morning…
And good evening from Northside…
We went and picked up some Wendy’s for a gloomy Monday treat for dinner…
Genifer had a spicy chicken sammich. I ordered a Baconator. But we ended up with two spicy chicken sammiches somehow. And that was kind of a bummer because I was looking forward to my burger. But the chicken was good too. And the third bag was full of chicken nuggets, if you were wondering.
I don’t remember exactly what we watched this evening. But I know we watched a handful of movies on Amazon Prime Video recently. We’ve watched Hangman, Widows Point, Death of a Vlogger and 47 Hours to Live, not necessarily in that order. They were all pretty bad. Prime Video is the home of bad movies. There have been a few good ones over the years, but they’re mostly really bad. Death of a Vlogger made just jump a few times. But there are only so many movies on Netflix and with a handful of our sports teams having their season put on pause, desperate times call for desperate measures. 😀🌄☁️🍔🍟🐔📺❤️
