Brunch at Revolution Rotisserie.

After getting Genifer her very first iPhone, we stopped at Revolution Rotisserie in Pleasant Ridge for brunch…

Genifer had one of their cocktails. I don’t recall which drink this was…

And I had a housemade spicy Bloody Mary…

We started brunch by sharing some delicious deviled eggs with bacon, capers, scallions, arugula, and paprika…

Oh man, I love deviled eggs…

Genifer had the Alex The Great salad with cucumber, tomato, red onion, feta, tzatziki and topped with Revolution’s rotisserie chicken…

I had their Rotisserie Chicken & Waffles with Amish, antibiotic-free bird served with  Belgian waffles and spicy syrup…

Wow. What a great meal! It was a terrific lunch. We can’t wait to come back for some more amazing Revolution Rotisserie chicken! YUM! 😀🇺🇸🐔❤️

69,000 Check-ins.

This afternoon I tallied my 69,000th check-in on Swarm

Obviously, I still really love my check-ins on Swarm! 😀⭐️❤️

Genifer got a new phone today.

This morning we got up and went over to the Sprint store at Rookwood Exchange in Norwood. She was more than overdue for an update…

And she decided to move from her Samsung Galaxy S-whatever to her very first iPhone, the new iPhone Xs Max…

Now she’s all super fancy-fancy. 😀📱❤️

Such peanut butter.

We finally got around to trying a couple of the Belching Beaver Brewery Peanut Butter Milk Stouts that JJVE sent us a little while back, and it was outstanding…

So peanut buttery! So delicious! Thanks again, JJVE! 😀🍺🍻❤️

My very first StitchFix.

Genifer has been doing StitchFix for a little while now. StitchFix is the personal styling company that sends you a box of five different clothing items as often as you’d like. And Genifer really likes it. I finally gave it a try because it seems the only clothing I’ve been buying lately is just stuff from my favorite sports teams. Hoodies. Polo shirts. T-shirts. I have them all, for all my favorite teams. I gave StitchFix a try to break out of my rut and maybe get some brand new big boy clothes…

I kept the last two items, the grey and navy sweater, and the grey denim pants.

I’m pretty excited too! StitchFix is a pretty neat service. And returning the three items I decided to return was also super easy. I can’t wait to see what is in my next box! 😀📨❤️

It’s Skyline time!

It was Skyline time again for lunch today…

And I had a gift card so my cheese coneys were free! I love Skyline! 😀🧀🌭❤️

Fitbit London Underground badge.

This morning I earned another Fitbit badge from my Fitbit Charge3

How cool is that? We love walking. Cheers, Governor! 😀⚡️❤️

Another new personal best!

I hit another new personal best on my Swarm this week. It’s funny that not too long ago my goal was to someday hit 2000 points in a week. And then my goal was to someday surpass 3000 points in a week sometime in the not too distant future. And last week, I actually went over the 3000 point mark for the very first time on my Swarm…

I still really like my check-ins on Swarm! 😀⭐❤

Happy Easter!

HAPPY EASTER! We had a very nice Easter Sunday. Genifer made me this really sweet little Easter basket…

We got a wonderful Easter card from JJVE with some terrific artwork from Violette…

Here’s a photo Jeannette sent of Violette with her artwork and the bunny she drew us…

And here’s a photo Josh sent of Violette with her bunny. It was the bunny we sent her from Happy Groundhog Studio

Later, Genifer’s mom came over and my parents came down from Michigan for the night on their way out east to do some antiquing and they brought some delicious Pizza King pizzas down with them…

YUM! Pizza King pizza is sooo good. My mom also brought down a very delicious cherry cobbler. It was a very nice surprise to get to spend Easter evening with my parents and Genifer’s mom. It turned out to be a really nice Easter. 😀🐰🐣❤️

On a personal note, I need to take more photos when people come over or when we do things with other people. I need to make more of a conscious effort to make sure I take at least one photo of everyone together. I really need to do a better job of that. I just 😀📷❤️

Northside Saturday.

After the fog this morning lifted, it turned out to be a pretty nice day. It wasn’t all that particularly warm but the sun was out and that made for a nice change of pace. We walked over to Boswell’s

We had a hankering for cheeseburgers and Bos bites…

Afterwards, we stopped into Urban Artifact for a beer…

My sister, Shannon sent us a $25 Giftly gift card to use at Urban Artifact. We definitely put it to good use and ordered a couple of UA’s special tap, Blueberry Parfait

Urban Artifact had a mailbox and postcards on their bar celebrating their new tart IPA called Postcard

Keep your eye on your mailbox for a postcard from us thanks to Urban Artifact. It was another really fun day just hanging out in our neighborhood. It’s so nice to be able to walk places again! 😀🍔🐔🍻❤️
