Seen and noted at Brewporium.
We went over to Taft’s Brewpourium for lunch today. And as we were walking into the Brewporium, a train rolled by with a rather unusual cargo…
I guess I never really thought about how they move tanks around from place to place. It makes perfect sense after thinking about it for a little bit that they would move them with trains. It’s pretty interesting the things you just kind of stumble across.
Brewpourium started doing wings and they are terrific…
But for me, the star at Brewpourium is always going to be the pizza. It’s sooo good…
And I tried something new off of Taft’s brunch menu, sausage gravy knots…
They were really good. Genifer wasn’t feeling them but she’s not the biggest fan of breakfast stuff at non-breakfast times. I thought they were really good. I took the rest home with us and ate them for breakfast at work on Monday.
I love Taft’s Brewpourium. And we still have a little bit of money left on our gift card! It’s been the gift that keeps on giving. ๐๐๐โค๏ธ

HAPPY NATIONAL PIZZA DAY!
Today was National Pizza Day! We celebrated by heading over to one our very favorite spots, Taft’s Brewpourium…
My parents gave us a Taft’s gift card for Christmas…
We shared another one of their delicious New Haven-style apizzas…
And of course, loaded tots. We had to get loaded tots…
What a delicious way to celebrate such a fun holiday! ๐๐๐บโค๏ธ
Oh. And a huge thanks to Taft’s for sending us over a couple of awesome Taft’s shirts…

Let’s GO X!
We had tickets for this afternoon’s Xavier Men’s basketball game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies. We bought our tickets a while back after discovering how silly cheap you could get tickets for events onย StubHub. Unfortunately, you can’t purchase good weather. It was pouring down rain this morning on our way to the game…
I made it through yet another metal detector without my hips set off the alarms…
It’s been a while since we’ve been to a Xavier game…
I don’t remember the player introductions being so cool…
We figured out there’s a place to stand up behind the seats. We like standing…
Xavier was leading at halftime…
It was kind of an ugly game. Butย Xavier won 73-63! That’s three in a row for X!
On the way out of Cintas Center, they gave everyone 20% off coupons at the Xavier team shop. We looked in the shop inside Cintas Center but they didn’t have any sizes…
So we walked down to the All For One Shop. And they had everything Xavier…
We both got Xavier sweatshirts to wear to our next Xavier game. ๐โ๏ธ๐โค๏ธ
On our way home, we stopped at Taft’s Brewpourium for a beer, some loaded tots and a pepperoni&sausage apizza…

Trick-or-treat.
Last year, the weather was beautiful for trick-or-treating. This year, it was cold and raining for trick-or-treating tonight in Cincinnati. So instead of sitting on our front porch and handing out candy, we went to Taft’s Brewpourium. They were doing a promotion with their delicious Gourd to Death brown ale…
And we shared some pizza and garlic knots…
We watched our third-floor OscarCam while ate pizza…
There were a surprising number of kids out treat-or-treating even with it being cold and rainy. When we got home, we took the dogs out for a walk. It was surprisingly quiet around the neighborhood…
And there were some good jack-o-lanterns on our street…
We hope everyone had a safe and fun trick-or-treating. We really enjoyed our Halloween. Maybe we’ll hand out candy next year if the weather is better. ๐๐๐โค๏ธ

Today was National Sausage Pizza Day. And I love sausage pizza. It’s my all-time very favorite pizza topping.ย On our way home, we stopped at Taft’s Brewpourium…
They had their deliciousย Gourd to Death Brown Ale on tap…
It’s sooo good. And speaking of good, the Brewpourium was running a special today. You could get a 16โ sausage pizza AND a six pack available for just $16 to celebrate National Sausage Pizza Day! We ran into our friends Chris and Tayler. And played a few rounds of Last Call Trivia with them. Our team led after the first round and then it all kind of went downhill from there. We brought home our pizza and six pack…
Their pizza is so delicious! I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate!ย ๐๐โค๏ธ

Fun stuff makes therapy better.
This morning Mack had a vet appointment to get updated on his vaccinations. And then later in the morning, I had physical therapy. We left a little bit early to stop for breakfast at Sleepy Bee in Oakley. It was so good.ย Genifer hadย The Worker Bee breakfast slam…
And I had The Broakley breakfast sammich…
Then it was on to physical therapy…
Later in the afternoon, we stopped at Taft’s Brewpourium for a beer while we watched the kickoff of the new season of English Premier League soccer between Leicester City (hooray!) and Manchester United (boo!)…
And we had some knots with beer cheese and a little pizza…
Unfortunately, Leicester lost 2-1. But Jamie Vardy scored so that’s something good.
Physical therapy hasn’t been bad. And I actually look forward to it because my hips feel much better afterward. But sandwiching it in between a couple of really fun activities makes it even better.ย ๐๐ณ๐ฅ๐บ๐โฝ๏ธโค๏ธ

Sunday Funday.
We went back to Taft’s Brewpourium to watch Michigan take on Rutgers. We hadn’t been to the Brewpourium for a quick minute…
While we were watching the game, we ordered another one of Taft’s New Haven-style apizzas, some of their delicious garlic knots, loaded tots topped with Cincinnati chili and some great Taft’s beers…
Everything was as delicious as always. And Michigan beat Rutgers 62-47! We always have a good time at Taft’s Brewpourium.ย ๐๐๐บ๐โค๏ธ

We watched some of theย baseball and then we watched Michigan lose to Sparty.
