And we have a few more rocks.

Good morning from Northside…

We got another delivery of rocks for our backyard early this afternoon…

Our last delivery of rocks was from Lowe’s. But they would only delivery 15 bags of rocks at a time. This time we ordered from Home Depot. They’d delivery as many bags of rocks as you’d like. We ordered 70 bags of pea gravel and 7 bags of river rocks…

And we moved them all from the sidewalk to our backyard in about 35 minutes…

We have a lot of pea gravel…

And there’s the rest of our river rocks down there…

We ended up moving the rocks during the hottest part of the day…

We get to choose three HelloFresh meals a week. And tonight, we had another HelloFresh meal for dinner. This one was Italian Pepper Steak Sandos with melty mozzarella & roasted potato wedges…

SANDOS! Gosh. We’re really loving these HelloFresh meal kits.

After dinner, the skies looked pretty ominous…

It started sprinkling on us while we were out on our walk…

Good evening from Northside…

Three years ago, I had my second hip surgery…

Four years ago, we were witness to the best soccer game I’ve ever seen live…

Five years ago, we were all moved into our house in Northside…

And we had our very first NYPD PIzza party…

We can’t wait for the weekend so we can start dumping bags upon bags of pea gravel in our backyard. 😀🌄🏡🍽️☁️🌧️❤️

We had another HelloFresh meal for dinner tonight. This one was Sweet Chili Pork Bowls with bell pepper & candied peanuts…

Ohmigosh. Every one of these meals has been amazing so far.

When we got upstairs, we remembered there was a 99.9% full moon tonight…

We’re ready for the weekend. 😀🌄🍽️🌕❤️

We had another HelloFresh meal for dinner. This one was Over-Ready Enchilada Chicken with southwestern rice & beans plus red pepper crema…

These meals are just amazing. I really look forward to them every night.

We watched Minnesota United beat Austin and FC Cincinnati beat Chicago…

It’s remarkable that both teams won considering had not good FC Cincinnati is still.

And there was an almost full moon tonight…

We made it through another Wednesday. 😀🌄🍽️📺⚽️❤️

It’s summer, right?

Sunday was the first day of summer. But today was only 70° outside…

I’m not even going to lie, I would take 70° year-around if we could get it.

For dinner tonight, we had anther meal from HelloFresh. This one was Salmon in a Creamy Dijon Chive Sauce with roasted potato wedges and lemony zucchini…

Our dinners from HelloFresh are just amazing. And this was another delicious meal.

And we had rainbow cake for dessert…

We had another good Tuesday. 😀🌄🏡🐾🍽️❤️

This was in my Timehop today…

Fast forward to today and my photos on Google Maps have a few more views…

Back in December, my contributions to Google Maps had 63 million views. And that’s pretty crazy to me.

Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dad out there…

Good morning from Northside…

Today was the first day of summer. And there wasn’t any rain in the forecast today so we got to work on our backyard…

We dumped 15 bags of pea gravel and 15 bags of river rocks and 15 drainage rocks in our backyard this afternoon…

I think we’re going to need a lot more rocks.

We got cleaned up and headed over to Taft’s Brewpourium for lunch…

Today, Taft’s had a specialty cheesesteak pizza for Father’s Day…

And it was delicious! Everything they do is amazing.

Two of the best words in all of sports… GAME. SEVEN.

We’re so happy with how our backyard is progressing. And any day that involved Taft’s pizza is a really good day. This was a really good Sunday. 😀🌄🏡🍕🐾❤️

Tonight’s HelloFresh dinner was Bulgogi Pork Tenderloin with roasted carrots and lime rice…

These meals are so delicious.

Tomorrow, we get a delivery from Lowe’s, and we’ll make some more progress on transforming our backyard…

Five years ago today, we closed on our house…

It’s hard to believe we’ve already been in our house for five years. 😀🌄🏡🍽️❤️

Good morning from Northside…

I had been waiting on this turntable package that I really liked from Turntable Lab. The only problem, it was out of stock for quite a while. I told myself that as soon as it was available again, I was going to order it.

It was finally available again. I ordered it. And today it arrived…

It sounds soooo good. Now we just need to start to get some more records.

For dinner tonight, we had our second HelloFresh meal. This one was Open-Face Pork Sausage Sammiches on cheesy garlic bread with green bell peppers and onions…

These meals are really delicious! I could really get used to eating these meals all the time.

In my Timehop today, there were these photos of water in our basement after a storm…

But even with all the rain we’ve been having, our basement is still dry now…

And speaking of Timehop, today was my 1095th Timehop in a row. Three years of checking my Timehop…

We can’t wait to listen to some music. 😀🌄🏡🎶🍽️💧❤️

The morning got off to a really pretty start…

Oscar was sitting like a sir…

In the mail today, I got a free limited edition Dribble sticker pack from Sticker Mule…

I love stickers. And these are some really neat ones.

We like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals so much that Genifer tried HelloFresh. HelloFresh delivers step-by-step recipes and fresh, pre-portioned ingredients right to your door. And our first meal kit also arrived today….

Here are the three meals we chose to try this week…

The first meal we tried was Hey, Honey! Salmon with potato wedges and zesty green beans…

Ohmigosh! It was such a delicious meal and it was so much food. I think we’re going to really like HelloFresh a lot! We can’t wait to try the other two meals.

In my Timehop today were these two photos of Genifer and Oscar hanging out in bed back when Genifer had to still wear glasses…
