We stopped at NYPD on our way home to pick up a cheese pizza so we could celebrate National Pizza Party Day!
And it was delicious. Every day should be National Pizza Party Day! 😀🍕❤️

I went out to lunch today to Taste of Belgium in The Banks with some coworkers. And I had this grilled ham and cheese sammich that was a lunch feature…
It was ham with Gruyère, Havarti, goat cheese, caramelized apples & shallots, and béchamel, whatever that is. And it was amazing! That’s all. It was just an amazing, amazing sammich. 😀🥪❤️

I had this everything bagel with garden vegetable cream cheese spread…

Covington’s Flying Axes.
This afternoon the creative team at Grey Midwest had an outing to go try our hand at some axe throwing over at Flying Axes in Covington…
It was a bit daunting at first with axe in hand staring down the bullseye…
But once you figured out the motion and the distance, it was really a lot of fun...
I even managed to splinter my axe…
Who knew that axe throwing would be such a really good time? I think it would be pretty fun to get a group together to join the axe throwing league night…
Please exit through the gift shop…
Afterward, we walked over for a drink at Braxton…
And then I caught an Uber home. It was a really fun evening, and I got to know some of my new coworkers a little bit better. 😀🧿🍺❤️

Whip burgers and 62,000 miles!
Our 2008 VW Jetta GLI about to hit 62,000 miles on the odometer this evening…
We stopped at Queen City Radio for happy hour on the way home…
We shared a delicious whip burger and fries…
We also got one of their cheese coneys too…
I really like their cheese coneys. But I love their Whip Burgers. And on our way home, we hit 62,000 miles…
It was a pretty nice reward for getting back to work today. 😀🍔🍟🌭🚗❤️

It was really good. Not quite as good as Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken. That’s freaking amazing. But this was still really good. 😀🥡❤️

We’re back from our epic road trip!
We made it back to Cincinnati this afternoon…
And we’re back home. We returned our rental SUV. picked up Mack from his kennel and our house survived just fine…
The grass was a bit long. But none the worse for wear. We had a great time on our epic road trip! Over 10 days, we covered almost 1950 miles through seven states.
We hope you followed along on our adventure. If not, check out our Instagrams. All of our photos have been posted and labeled on Flickr. And we even uploaded some videos to our YouTube. It was a great trip. We had a wonderful time. But it’s really nice to be home. 😀🗺️❤️
