The Big Dipper is back.

The Big Dipper is back at Pizza Hut for a limited time. And after a little badgering, Genifer finally agreed to let me order it for dinner. And tonight was the night! I ordered it from the Pizza Hut in St. Bernard and we ventured out to pick it up…

Odd enough, this photo from the first time I ever had Pizza Hut’s Big Dipper is my most favorited photo on Flickr. Kind of weird that’s the photo people liked the most.

I was so excited as I loaded it into our car, and it took up almost all of the entire back seat. We hadn’t had a Big Dipper in almost five years…

And there it is…

The Big Dipper…

It was really good stuff. But holy geez, that’s a lot of dippers. 😀🍕❤️

And now, I’m good on Big Dipper for another five years.

Working from home: Day 2.

Mack seems to have taken to me working from home pretty well…

He just crashed out on his dog bed in the office for most of the day while I worked on my stuff. He’s been really good hanging out with me so far. Genifer is at home too on Tuesdays. Oscar got to hang out with her all day. Oscar probably likes hanging out with her better because he gets to hang out with Genifer in one of the bigger rooms away from Mack for most of the day. 😀🐾❤️

Working from home isn’t too bad at all. Everything is going pretty smooth so far.

Over 20 million views.

My photos on Google Maps/Local Guides just went over 20 million views

It’s a pretty big accomplishment to me. It’s nice to still be popular. And it’s pretty neat.

Thanks for giving me another way to share my photos, Google! 😀🗺📷❤

It’s what’s for dinner.

We had spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread for dinner tonight…

Hmmm…

These meatballs need some dust cheese…

That’s better. I love spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. 😀🍝❤️

Working from home: Day 1.

On Friday, Grey Midwest had a trial run of all employees working from home. About half way through the day, it was recommended that all Grey Midwest employees should work from home until further notice. So this morning was the first official day of my working from home. Thankfully, we have our terrific little work space setup on our second floor, and it will finally get put to good use…

I pulled in some dog beds from upstairs and barricaded us in the office…

And I got to have some of my giant Lunchables I got at the grocery for lunch…

Everything worked really well. And it was so nice and quiet. Our internet was able to keep up with all the video conference calls and meetings. The dogs were really good all day. And I continue to make small adjustments to my working from home set-up but I’m really feeling it so far…

It’s definitely not terrible. I think I could get used to working from home. 😀🏡💻❤️

For the time being, Genifer still has to go into the office to work. Hopefully, she’ll be able to work from home soon too.

Is this heaven?

I really love milk & mocha bear. As a pretty big introvert, I really love the notion of working from home. And it looks like, over the next few weeks (maybe months), I’m going to get to see if working from home is as nice as I think it would be.

I hope everyone is going to be okay with their working from home, social distancing and self quarantines. Just like mocha bear, for me, it’s pretty heavenly. 😀🐻❤️

Pause for paws.

Here’s a very fuzzy yet adorable Oscar from three years ago…

Thanks for the memories, Timehop. 😀🦕❤️

It’s what’s for dinner.

We had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals for dinner tonight. This one was Carolina BBQ Chicken with cheesy broccoli…

It was another terrific meal. The Carolina BBQ sauce was great and broccoli is just my favorite vegetable, especially when it’s cheesy broccoli.

We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot. 😀❤️

A world without sports.

Last night, the NBA shocked everyone by abruptly suspending the remaining games of their season after a player on the Utah Jazz tested positive for coronavirus…

But at least, my Mavs are the 2019/20 Champions. This afternoon, Michigan was set to begin their 2020 B1G TEN tournament against Rutgers in Indianapolis at a Bankers Life Fieldhouse without any spectators…

And just as the game was about to tipoff, the entire tournament was canceled…

Both teams were on the floor, warmed up and ready to tip-off their tournament and then the plug was pulled on the whole thing.

Some things are bigger than basketball. This is a global situation and we need to make sure we follow the guidance and direction of the experts and health officials. While we are disappointed of not being able to play this event — especially for Zavier and Jon.

We need to stay bonded together during this time. We want everyone to stay safe and take precautions to protect yourselves and loved ones.

We are a Michigan family… forever.

— Michigan Head Coach, Juwan Howard

But on the upside, Michigan is still undefeated against Rutgers.

And less than an hour later, MLS postponed their season for 30 days…

No Minnesota United soccer for a while

In a related story, I’m done with FC Cincinnati. Completely done. But that’s another post for another time. And not long after MLS, USL followed suit and suspended their season for at least 30 days as well…

Louisville City just completed their soccer-specific stadium before the beginning of this season, and now they’re going to have to wait a little while longer to christen their stadium. But it looks just beautiful…

A few hours later, it was baseball’s turn…

And then later this afternoon, March Madness turned into March Sadness…

Ha. And when I got home from work, I saw an update from England…

Apparently, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been diagnosed with COVID-19…

The FA is scheduled to release a statement of the future of the English Premier League season. I’m guessing it will be postponed for the foreseeable future…

And there you go. Now we’re living in my nightmare, a world without sports. It’s a very sad day. And it’s going to be a really long month. 😭🚫❤️

UPDATE: The Premier League season has been suspended with the intention of returning on April 4. The League intends to reschedule the postponed matches.

And the NBA season is likely to resume. Games could return in April and possibly go straight into the playoffs, or the league could push the entire calendar back. But my Mavericks will always be 2019/20 NBA Champions to me.

2019/20 NBA Champions!

Tonight, I was watching my Dallas Mavericks play the Denver Nuggets on ESPN. And during the game, the NBA decided to cancel the rest of the NBA season while the Mavs game was still going. The Mavs ended up thumping Nuggets by 16 points.

So since the Mavericks won the final game of the NBA season… THEY’RE YOUR 2019/20 NBA CHAMPIONS!

Luka Doncic dropped 28 in the final game. He was just one rebound short of another double-double. But your final MVP is Boban Marjanovic with 31 points and 17 boards.

And the Mavs rested one of their superstars, Kristaps Porzingis in the championship game… just because they could. Gangsta.

DALLAS MAVERICKS 2019/20 NBA CHAMPIONS!🤣🏀🏆❤️
