The joke’s on us.

Today is April first and that means, it’s also April Fool’s Day…

But the joke was on us because it was snowing this morning…

We saw our first snail of the spring…

I moved the snail from the middle of the sidewall on the stairs to the edge of the sidewalk by some mulch over by what might someday be an orchard…

It was still snowing…

We had an NYPD Pizza party tonight…

Remember when Oscar used to hop up on the sofa in our office studio and look out the window?

There was a 99.9% full moon tonight over Northside…

And this evening we watched Michigan thump Florida State to reach the Elite Eight…

Two years ago, we were watching Opening Day baseball and having Habenero Mango Oberons at Pony…

Gosh. I miss baseball and Pony. Still, we had a pretty good Sunday. 😀🌄☁️🥪🍟🏀❤️

Saturday, March 20th.

Today was the first day of Spring. And it felt like it…

We walked to Blue Jay for lunch…

We walked over to Boswell’s Alley to watch Michigan’s first round tournament game against Texas Southern. After the game, we stopped to have a few drinks at Northside Tavern. And on the way home, we picked up hoagies from NYPD. We had a really good Saturday. 😀🌄🌭🍻♥️

We made it to Friday!

The sunrise was pretty this morning…

But then the grey skies started to win again…

There was a pretty deeper blue-grey in the sky this morning just above the horizon…

And by the time we were out on our morning walk, the sun was long gone…

Good morning from Northside…

The very pretty blue-grey in the sky was more pronounced up on top of the hill at the end of our street…

Today was a great day to celebrate. It was Friday. We made it through another week. And this morning, our Edible Arrangement was delivered for Valentine’s Day…

It’s pretty amazing how expensive shipping gets the closer you get to Valentine’s Day especially when it falls on a weekend…

But if it was delivered today, it was free. So here we are…

And our arrangement came with a box of a dozen little cookies…

It looks delicious. We can’t wait to dig into the fruits. And the cookies.

We had grilled cheeses with turkey for lunch. In some circles, they call that a Super Bird. But whatever you call them, grilled cheeses are pretty darn good…

I really like dipping my grilled cheeses in barbeque sauce…

And for dinner, we had an NYPD Pizza party…

NYPD Pizza is sooo good…

Snow bear? Snow mouse…?

Snow hamster?

Good evening from Northside…

Tonight, we finished watching Wanted on Netflix. We had a really good Friday. And especially since it’s the start of a three-day holiday weekend. 😀🌄☁️🍍🍓🥪🍕📺❤️

Tonight, we started watching Fate: The Winx Saga. It’s pretty okay. But our day was pretty great. Thanks to our Wednesday NYPD Pizza party. 😀🌄🍕🐾❤️

The laziest of lazy Sundays.

It was a rainy Sunday. And we had the laziest of lazy Sundays. This morning we watched the Chelsea and Leicester FA Cup matches. Unlike Arsenal, both teams advanced to the next round.

While we were eating lunch, we perused some VRBO spots…

NYPD hoagies are so good.

We watched the NFL playoff games. My biggest fear was that the Packers and Chiefs would both win and we’d have a State Farm Superb Owl. But thankfully, there’s the greatest of all time, Tom Brady…
