Friday nights are for our backyard.

It’s Friday! We made it through another week!

Good morning from Northside…

Both dogs were laying in our studio-office while I was working today. Mack was on the dog bed and Oscar was laying in Mack’s crate…

We reorganized our back patio and moved our chairs around…

And Genifer found this terrific green rug for our patio…

And then we hung out in our backyard this evening and listened to musics…

We love hanging out in our backyard on Friday nights. It’s a terrific way to wind down the work week and get the weekend off to a good start! 😀🌄🏡🐾❤️

Hello from Northside.

It was a really pretty morning…

Good morning from Northside…

This afternoon the sky started getting kind of dark…

We started another week of HelloFresh meals. Our first meal this week Kung Pao Chicken with sweet Szechuan sauce with peanuts & jasmine rice…

It was another really delicious dinner. We like the HelloFresh meals a lot. It rained while we were eating but it looked like it stopped long enough to make it around the block…

We had a really good Wednesday. We started watching Game of Thrones on HBO Max. (Welcome to the party, pal!) And now we can see what all the buzz what about now. That show is craaaazy. 😀🌄🐾🥡🌧️❤️

She loved sitting in the window in our apartment and watching the world go by…

We miss the kitty.

Tuesday is burger night!

After the wonderful long holiday weekend, we had to get back to work…

Good morning from Northside…

We made it through our Tuesday. And then we walked back down to Gulow Street…

During happy hour on Tuesdays, Gulow Street has a burger and draft beer special for $10.

But we figured out you can also get a burger, a Tito’s & soda, a High Life and a bag of chips all for just $13.75…

Their burgers are pretty amazing for $6.50. We ate our burgers and finished our drinks and walked home to take the dogs around the block…

It was a very pretty evening…

We had a great Tuesday. We really like Gulow Street burger night. I think that just became a standing thing.

Dang. Still more rain.

The sun was out and the skies were blue with wispy white clouds this morning but by lunch time it was pouring down rain…

Mack and Oscar were waiting patiently for me to finish up with work…

Good evening from Northside…

Our second HelloFresh meal for the week was Sheet Pan Pork Sausage & Pepper Flatbreads with Monterey Jack and mozzarella…

I just don’t know what to say. All the meals are so good.

After dinner, it started raining again…

And it kept raining all night. 😀🌄☁️🌧️🐾🍽️🍕❤️

And we have a few more rocks.

Good morning from Northside…

We got another delivery of rocks for our backyard early this afternoon…

Our last delivery of rocks was from Lowe’s. But they would only delivery 15 bags of rocks at a time. This time we ordered from Home Depot. They’d delivery as many bags of rocks as you’d like. We ordered 70 bags of pea gravel and 7 bags of river rocks…

And we moved them all from the sidewalk to our backyard in about 35 minutes…

We have a lot of pea gravel…

And there’s the rest of our river rocks down there…

We ended up moving the rocks during the hottest part of the day…

We get to choose three HelloFresh meals a week. And tonight, we had another HelloFresh meal for dinner. This one was Italian Pepper Steak Sandos with melty mozzarella & roasted potato wedges…

SANDOS! Gosh. We’re really loving these HelloFresh meal kits.

After dinner, the skies looked pretty ominous…

It started sprinkling on us while we were out on our walk…

Good evening from Northside…

Three years ago, I had my second hip surgery…

Four years ago, we were witness to the best soccer game I’ve ever seen live…

Five years ago, we were all moved into our house in Northside…

And we had our very first NYPD PIzza party…

We can’t wait for the weekend so we can start dumping bags upon bags of pea gravel in our backyard. 😀🌄🏡🍽️☁️🌧️❤️

Ohmigosh. Every one of these meals has been amazing so far.

When we got upstairs, we remembered there was a 99.9% full moon tonight…

It’s summer, right?

Sunday was the first day of summer. But today was only 70° outside…

I’m not even going to lie, I would take 70° year-around if we could get it.

For dinner tonight, we had anther meal from HelloFresh. This one was Salmon in a Creamy Dijon Chive Sauce with roasted potato wedges and lemony zucchini…

Our dinners from HelloFresh are just amazing. And this was another delicious meal.

And we had rainbow cake for dessert…

We had another good Tuesday. 😀🌄🏡🐾🍽️❤️

Fast forward to today and my photos on Google Maps have a few more views…

Back in December, my contributions to Google Maps had 63 million views. And that’s pretty crazy to me.

Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dad out there…

Good morning from Northside…

Today was the first day of summer. And there wasn’t any rain in the forecast today so we got to work on our backyard…

We dumped 15 bags of pea gravel and 15 bags of river rocks and 15 drainage rocks in our backyard this afternoon…

I think we’re going to need a lot more rocks.

We got cleaned up and headed over to Taft’s Brewpourium for lunch…

Today, Taft’s had a specialty cheesesteak pizza for Father’s Day…

And it was delicious! Everything they do is amazing.

Good evening from Northside…

Two of the best words in all of sports… GAME. SEVEN.

We’re so happy with how our backyard is progressing. And any day that involved Taft’s pizza is a really good day. This was a really good Sunday. 😀🌄🏡🍕🐾❤️
