Burger King and some whaaaat?

Good morning from Northside…

We were so lazy today. We laid around all morning. Finally, we started to get hungry and ventured out of the house. On our way to get lunch, we stopped to get gas in Finneytown…

And there was this sticker on our pump…

And then it was onto the Home of the Whopper. We ordered a BK feast through the Burger King App…

Usually, Burger King is reserved only for road trips. But it just sounded really good today. And we ordered a bunch so we’d have snack for later.

I’m just going to leave these scores here without comment…

😳😬😲 What makes it even more nuts is when you combine today’s Liverpool and United results with last weekend’s thumping of City by Leicester…

It brings me great joy whenever United or Liverpool lose. And to have them both great thumped on the same day, just makes for a really great Sunday. Now I have a couple of matches to go back and watch to see just what the heck happened.

And we finished our Sunday with ball in our backyard until it got too dark…

We had a very nice, lazy and relaxing Sunday. 😀🌄🍔👑📺⚽️❤️

Covington Yard & Holiday Spirits.

This afternoon we headed out to cross the river over into Kentucky…

On our way, we drove by the new soccer stadium in the West End…

It looks pretty nice. Too bad the team that will be playing in the there is so terrible. We also drove by our old apartment building…

And then it was over the river into Kentucky…

And then we were at Covington Yard…

Genifer had a sangria slushie…

There are three shipping containers restaurants at Covington Yard: Mr. Bulgogi Korean BBQ, Django Western Taco and Yardbird…

We can get delicious Django tacos whenever we want and Mr. Bulgogi wasn’t open so we shared their delicious chicken sammich and fries from Yardbird…

That chicken sammich was really delicious.

Genifer had a bourbon slush and I had a Mango Cart…

Covington Yard is so fun. On our way back home, we stopped in Over-the-Spirits at Holiday Spirits…

We talked about all the trips we’d like to take when the pandemic is over.

And we watched a Black Lives Matter march go by on Liberty Street…

There was the new stadium again…

And we’ve come full circle. We had a really fun afternoon. 😀🐔🍟🍻❤️

The trees colors are starting to change up on top of the hill at the end of our street…

We walked to Sidewinder to get Friday morning coffee…

We had delicious ramen noodles for dinner tonight…

We’ve been working on staining our new backyard fence…

It turns out I’m not very good at painting at all…

Hello October.

It’s pretty crazy to me that today is the first day of October…

For still being in the middle of a global pandemic, stuck at home and not really being able to do much of anything, this year certainly has flown right by. I would like my 2020 back, please. I think we should all get to take a mulligan for this year and get to try 2020 over again next year.

They weren’t working on our street this morning. So we got to go back up to the top of the hill at the end of our street and say…

Good morning from Northside!

This is what the street looked like in front of our house this morning…

But a little while later, they filled it in with asphalt…

And good evening from Northside…

We ordered hoagie sammiches from NYPD…

And after we stuffed our faces full of delicious NYPD hoagie sammiches and french fries, we played ball in our backyard and we watched the beautiful sunset clouds….

It’s just really nuts that it’s already October. 😀🌄🥪🍟❤️

Hello from Northside.

It ended up being another grey and overcast day today but just like yesterday, the clouds were so pretty. This morning, this evening, and later from our backyard…

Good evening from Northside…

And Genifer made this terrific cheesy turkey, sweet potato, and spinach skillet bake for dinner tonight…

It was so delicious. She always finds the best recipes to make. Other than that, it was just another Wednesday. I’m ready for this week to be over. And I really can’t wait until they’re finally done working on the water main on our street so we can go back up to the top of the hill at the end of our street in the mornings. 😀🌄☁️🌥️❤️

T+G forever in concrete.

Seven years ago, the Reds lost in the NL Wild Card game to the Pirates…

We didn’t walk the dogs up to the top of the hill at the end of our street this morning. They were working on the end of our street at the bottom of the hill so we went the other way.

Usually, during the day there is one dog on each floor. Oscar hangs out on the first floor most of the time. Mainly because he refuses to go up and down the stairs. So he’ll hang out on whatever floor you put him on…

Bear hangs out with me in the studio on our second floor. He sits behind me while I’m working during the day. But he follows me wherever I go. He’s like my fuzzy shadow…

And Mack sleeps pretty much wherever he likes…

He hangs out on the third floor a lot. Or he also likes sleeping in the front bedroom on the second floor.

This afternoon they poured the concrete out in front of our house to replace our sidewalk. And as soon as they were done and moved on down the block, I went out to write our initials in the concrete…

I’ve never had the opportunity to write anything in concrete before. They smoothed it over once. But I went back out to rewrite our initials…

Later this evening, we slowed down to grill…

As soon as we got inside with all of our delicious grilled food, it started raining. And when we went to take the dog on their walk after we finished eating, there was a beautiful rainbow up at the top of the hill at the end of our street…

It was a really good Tuesday, as far as Tuesdays go. 😀🌄☁️🌈🐾❤️

Over 47.5 million views.

My photos on Google Maps/Local Guides just passed 47.5 million views…

It’s pretty crazy because just two days ago my photos on Google Maps hit the 45 million view milestone. That’s 2.5 million views in two days. Nutty.

Thanks for giving me another way to share my photos, Google! And I’m almost to level 9 local guide on Google Maps. I just keep working hard on my Google Maps contributions. #LetsGuide 😀🗺️📷❤️

A day of pretty skies.

The clouds were really pretty when we woke up this morning…

But it was getting pretty gray when we were taking the dogs on their walk…

They were working on our street again this morning…

I’ve really enjoyed watching all the machines from our WyzeCams…

We had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals for dinner tonight. We had the Stroganoff Pork Meatballs with potatoes and peas again…

The stroganoff sauce was so good we had to have this meal again. And it was another really delicious dinner the second time around. We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot.

It was sprinkling a little bit as we took the dogs around the block…

Good evening from Northside…

The sky was really pretty this evening…

It was a really beautiful blue-gray.

And the sunset was even prettier from our backyard…

It was just a day of very pretty skies. 😀🌄☁️❤️

We watched Enola Holmes on Netflix tonight. It was cute and pretty good.

Fantasy baseball 2020.

I had five fantasy baseball teams competing in ESPN head-to-head points leagues. To be honest, I had a really hard time getting into fantasy baseball this season. I neglected my teams a lot and had a hard time remembering to update them. Four of my teams didn’t do very well. But even with all my neglect, my Whipty Dips finished 5-2 on the season…
